The fitter and fatter babe she is today had her own share of struggles when it came to losing weight and maintaining a healthy body. The chirpy and chubby actress, who started off her career with Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, kept an eye on her goals and reached to size 30 from 38. Of course, she started out small and slow and didn’t rush into things. In a few years, she dropped a whopping 28kgs.
Diet- Voluptuous babe was on a strict diet plan for six months. The new attitude towards life called for a new diet chart including low-fat food. She started having everything in smaller portions and ate on time. Slowly she imposed more of strictness on herself. Brown rice, fat-free yoghurt, a glass of warm water with lime juice was her daily routine diet. Fat-free milk was at times replaced by chocolate shakes so that she can have the best of both the worlds.
Workout- No wonder the diet was helpful, but the first big and motivating step was the right set of exercises. Fortunately, the fitness bug bit her and she started off with meditation to keep her mind healthy in the first place. Then it was mini fitness sessions at the gym. She made sure she included cardio every day. To devour the boring gym routine, she tried out interesting activities like horse riding, swimming and a form of martial arts from Kerala named Kalaripayattu. The dancing classes also made her fit and fine with time.
