Be a good listener
At the end of the day, remember that the person standing opposite you is someone whom you truly love, and your better half as well. So, it is important that you give him or her a chance to speak as well. Instead of being insistent on proving your point, give your partner the benefit of doubt and understand what he or she has to say. By doing so, you might just be able to find a middle path that is acceptable to the both of you. Always remember, in the case of your special ones, the trick lies in being a good listener, more than being a good speaker!
