Zubeen Garg's Bandmate Claims His Manager Took Him To Sea Despite Singer Being Drunk, Tired

Zubeen Garg's passing has left the entire nation in shock. Now, after his death, his bandmate, Partha Pratim Goswami, has made accusations against Zubeen's manager, Siddharth Sharma and his fellow bandmate, Shekhar Jyoti Goswami, for carelessness and negligence. He slammed them for allowing Zubeen to go to the sea, as he had been drinking as well as partying the full night. Partha claimed that Zubeen did not get any sleep, and his manager allowed him to go despite knowing that he was a seizure patient.

Zubeen Garg's bandmate claims Siddharth Sharma and Shekhar Jyoti Goswami took the singer to the sea for their fun

Partha, in an interview with India Today, claimed that the late singer was prevented from resting by Siddharth and Shekhar, and then taken to the sea for their enjoyment. He called their decision totally reckless and a mistake that he will never forgive. Partha claimed his manager and fellow bandmate were very close to Zubeen and shared:

"You didn’t let him sleep and insisted on taking him to the sea just because you wanted to have fun. I will never forgive them for this reckless mistake for as long as I live. You two, who stay close to Zubeen like shadows, brought someone who hadn’t slept and had been drinking and partying all night to swim in the sea, fully aware that Zubeen is a seizure patient. How could you do that?"

Well, Partha did claim that a lot of negligence and carelessness was on the part of Siddharth and Shekhar. On the other hand, four individuals have been arrested in relation to the case. There were Zubeen's manager, Siddharth, event organiser Shyamkanu Mahanta, along with bandmate Shekhar and musician Amritprava Mahanta. Reportedly, murder charges have been filed against them. For the unversed, Zubeen was best known for his song, Ya Ali, from the movie, Gangster. It was on September 19, 2025, that he passed away on an island in Singapore. Zubeen was on a yacht and accompanied by his team members when the alleged incident occurred.

Zubeen Garg's bandmate, Partha Pratim Goswami, rubbishes reports of the singer being poisoned

Zubeen had travelled to Singapore to perform at the North East India Festival, which Mahanta and his company organised. Now, Partha in the interview claimed scepticism over the claim of late Zubeen Da being poisoned and hailed it as 'rubbish' as well as 'scripted'. He spoke about the same after Shekhar told the investigative officers that the singer was poisoned. He revealed:

“I am ready to help them (CID) 110%. The case is taking a different turn every day. Suddenly, we came to know yesterday that Shekhar (bandmate Shekhar Jyoti Goswami) has said that Zubeen was poisoned. Does it take 15 days to tell if someone was poisoned?"

Partha also shared that if it were proven that Zubeen was poisoned, then the punishment should be the same as what he wants Zubeen's manager, Siddharth, to get for those who are under scrutiny. Partha also questioned the credibility of the claims made and shared that he did not see Zubeen drowning but saw him struggling to come back. He also shared that Singapore law is the strictest in the world.
