Before Zohran Mamdani and Rama Duwaji’s intimate wedding at the City Clerk's office, the couple had an exotic bash on December 22, 2024, on the rooftop of Vida Creek Harbour. The duo had an intimate engagement and a traditional Nikah ceremony, attended by their close friends and family.

Dressed in a white attire, Rama looked gorgeous as she held Zohran’s hand, who looked dapper in a navy blue bandhgala suit. The entire rooftop was decorated in white, giving a pristine and peaceful touch. White flowers dominated the minimalistic décor.

According to The New York Post, the wedding package for the venue costs USD 72 per person. A statement from Zohran’s campaign stated:

“Before their civil ceremony in New York City, Zohran and his wife celebrated their engagement in Dubai last year—where her family lives—with a small, joyful ceremony surrounded by their loved ones.”

“Three months ago, I married the love of my life, Rama, at the City Clerk’s office. Now, right-wing trolls are trying to make this race—which should be about you—about her. Rama isn’t just my wife, she’s an incredible artist who deserves to be known on her own terms.”

Zohran Mamdani’s wife, Rama Duwaji, is a Syrian artist based in Brooklyn. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts. She is also an animator and ceramicist.
