On January 5, 2025, the 82nd edition of the Golden Globe Awards was hosted at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. Amid all the celebs who graced the event, Zendaya stunned in her vintage burnt-orange gown from Louis Vuitton, but her ginormous, cushion-cut diamond ring on her left ring finger had fans speculating if she got engaged to her long-time beau, actor Tom Holland. If reports are to be believed, Zendaya’s ring is a masterpiece from London-based jeweller, Jessica McCormack, popular for their timeless diamond jewellery.
Zendaya’s ring features a large cushion-cut diamond set east-west on a slim gold band, a signature style for McCormack's contemporary yet timeless designs. Deux Moi insiders claim the diamond is indeed an engagement ring, estimating its price tag at a whopping USD 200,000 or even more, which in Indian currency rounds to approximately Rs. 1.71 crore.
Popular style page on Instagram, including Zendaya Style Files and Who Wore What Jewels confirmed that the ring was not a part of the Bvlgari ensemble that Zendaya had worn in the event. This further solidified the engagement rumours. Zendaya Style Files wrote:
"The ring on Zendaya's left hand at the Golden Globes is not from Bulgari like the rest of her jewellery is. That is a USD 200k+ engagement ring from Jessica McCormack, a London-based jeweller. Omg, she is not even hiding it but no one seems to have noticed!”
Just days before the Golden Globes, Holland hinted at his future plans during an interview with Men’s Health, further fuelling the engagement buzz. The Spider-Man star was heard saying:

While Tom’s cryptic comment on family planning had already sent fans speculating if the actor just hinted at turning a new leaf with Zendaya, the latter’s arrival at the Golden Globes alone, featuring the diamond on her ring finger, added fuel to the burning question: Is Zendaya engaged to Tom Holland? However, the actors, who prefer to keep their personal lives under wraps, have yet to react to the buzz.
Zendaya and Tom, the ‘It’ couple of Hollywood, first met on the sets of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017, and their chemistry has been lighting up both screens and social media ever since.
