Rekha recently made heads turn as she dazzled in a totally royal wardrobe for gracing the cover shoot of the prestigious international magazine, Vogue Arabia. For the shoot, Rekha looked like a dream in stunning regal outfits from the shelves of the eminent designer, Manish Malhotra. Ever since the first glimpse of her shoot made its way to social media, Rekha’s countless ardent fans and many other members of the film fraternity cannot keep calm with her drop-dead gorgeous looks. And now, Rekha received massive applause from her contemporary colleague and friend, Zeenat Aman. For the unversed, the duo had worked together in the 1980 film, Ram Balram.
Zeenat Aman recently took to her IG stories and shared Rekha’s glamorous pictures from the cover shoot of the Vogue Arabia magazine. Heaping praises on her dear friend and colleague, Zeenat penned a heartfelt note for Rekha, and added that since the latter is not on social media, hence she had to share it herself. She also added a purple heart emoticon to express her happiness. Her caption could be read as:

Even at the age of 68, Rekha knows the way to perfectly nail her looks effortlessly. Her ethereal pictures from the Vogue Arabia cover shoot are a befitting proof of the same. She looked gorgeous in a black-hued turtle neck top, which she paired with a customised archival brocade jacket, that featured intricate embroidery, sequin and lace work. She styled it with a matching velvet-made Mughal-inspired headgear, which added the oomph factor to her look. She completed her look with her iconic choice of bold makeup and a heavy traditional neckpiece.
In yet another of her looks for the Vogue Arabia cover, Rekha was seen channelling her love for Indian wear. Well, she opted to wear a two-toned dupion silk-made long, full-sleeved kurta, which she paired with a Hyderabadi style two-toned tissue organza khadi dupatta. She completed her look with an antique style, a heavy gold and emerald neckpiece, matching earrings, maang teeka and matha patti. Indeed, her looks redefined fashion in more ways than one.

For her third look, Rekha dazzled in Manish Malhotra’s customised archival piece of a white-hued mulmul angrakha, that featured a broad ghera. She teamed it with a vintage gold-thread embroidered short jacket and matching dupatta. Her look was completed by a stunning diamond choker, layered neckpieces, earrings, a traditional headgear and gorgeous haathphools.
In her final look for the magazine, Rekha grabbed eyeballs as she donned the avatar of a perfect, pristine muse. She struck an old-world pose in a white-hued saree from the shelves of Manish Malhotra. However, it was her choice of various diamond neckpieces and her broad mark of sindoor on her hairline that grabbed eyeballs.
