Decoding Rekha’s gorgeous looks for the cover shoot of Vogue Arabia

Even at the age of 68, Rekha knows the way to perfectly nail her looks effortlessly. Her ethereal pictures from the Vogue Arabia cover shoot are a befitting proof of the same. She looked gorgeous in a black-hued turtle neck top, which she paired with a customised archival brocade jacket, that featured intricate embroidery, sequin and lace work. She styled it with a matching velvet-made Mughal-inspired headgear, which added the oomph factor to her look. She completed her look with her iconic choice of bold makeup and a heavy traditional neckpiece.

In yet another of her looks for the Vogue Arabia cover, Rekha was seen channelling her love for Indian wear. Well, she opted to wear a two-toned dupion silk-made long, full-sleeved kurta, which she paired with a Hyderabadi style two-toned tissue organza khadi dupatta. She completed her look with an antique style, a heavy gold and emerald neckpiece, matching earrings, maang teeka and matha patti. Indeed, her looks redefined fashion in more ways than one.

She teamed it with a vintage gold-thread embroidered short jacket and matching dupatta. Her look was completed by a stunning diamond choker, layered neckpieces, earrings, a traditional headgear and gorgeous haathphools.

In her final look for the magazine, Rekha grabbed eyeballs as she donned the avatar of a perfect, pristine muse. She struck an old-world pose in a white-hued saree from the shelves of Manish Malhotra. However, it was her choice of various diamond neckpieces and her broad mark of sindoor on her hairline that grabbed eyeballs.
