Indian actress, Bhagyashree had become a star overnight with her first film, Maine Pyaar Kiya. She had won a million hearts with the portrayal of a shy girl opposite Salman Khan. But despite the stupendous success of the film and being aware of the super-stardom knocking at her door, Bhagyashree had left Bollywood.
Bhagyashree was married to businessman-turned-actor/producer, Himalaya Dasani in 1990, one year after her first film, Maine Pyaar Kiya was released in 1989. Soon after the marriage, her son, Abhimanyu was born, and for the sake of her family, Bhagyashree had quit acting. However, in her recent appearance on the show, Zee Comedy Show, the actress dropped some surprising facts about her film, Maine Pyaar Kiya.

In the upcoming episode of the popular comedy show, Zee Comedy Show, the gorgeous actress, Bhagyashree will make an appearance and reveal some unheard facts about her acting career in Bollywood. However, some revelations are already out and have excited everyone for this upcoming episode. As Bhagyashree recalled when she had started crying after knowing that she had to hug Salman Khan in one of the scenes of their film, Maine Pyaar Kiya. The actress said, "I was just 18 years old and thought I was in love at that time and going to get married, I had never even hugged a guy till then. So, I got worried, and I started crying after hearing that I will have to hug Salman during a song sequence in Maine Pyaar Kiya."
Going further in her revelation, Bhagyashree also added that after she had started crying inconsolably on the sets of Maine Pyaar Kiya, both her co-star, Salman Khan and film's director, Sooraj Bharjatya, were scratching their heads in order to find a solution. In her words, "In fact, for half an hour, Salman Khan and Sooraj Sir were scratching their heads to figure out a solution because they had to showcase Suman and Prem's love in some way."

When Bhagyashree was asked what was the thing that had convinced her to do the hug sequence in the film, the actress revealed that it was a gentle, polite, and trustworthy plea from Salman Khan that had assured her to do the hug scene with him. The actress explained, "Please do it.' I couldn't say no and that's how I finally got convinced to do that hug-sequence."
However, the revelation that got everyone's attention was when Bhagyashree revealed that she wasn't comfortable kissing her co-star, Salman Khan, on-screen. She said, "I was about to get married, so I wasn't so comfortable doing a kissing scene back then. So, Sooraj sir came up with an idea of having a glass in between us and the kiss would be showcased through that. That's how they changed the sequence."

On the professional front, Bhagyashree will be seen next in the film, Radhe Shyam.
