Zarine Khan's Prayer Meet - Emotional Sanjay Khan Remembers Her, Hrithik Gives Speech, 'I Was Loved'

Zarine Khan, a former model and Sunjay Khan's wife passed away at the age of 81. If the reports are to be followed, Zarine was suffering from age-related ailments, and she also suffered a cardiac arrest, which claimed her life. Zarine's demise left the entire industry heartbroken. On November 10, 2025, a prayer meet was held, which was also attended by her ex-son-in-law, Hrithik Roshan. Now, some inside glimpses have made rounds on social media, where Hrithik could be seen giving a speech. Even though Hrithik divorced Sussanne, his bond with her family, mainly with Zarine Khan remained unharmed.

Recently, Farah Khan Ali shared a video from Zarine Khan's prayer meet, which was attended by her close ones. In the glimpses, Sanjay Khan looked emotional. He also remembered his late wife, and he shared their love story through an emotional speech. He shared how not only her beauty but also her intelligence won him over, and how he could see his whole world in her eyes.

Zayed Khan also expressed his sadness, revealing how much he is going to miss his mom. Hrithik Roshan attended the prayer meet with Saba Azad, and he was also seen giving a speech, wherein he stated that it had been a privilege to love Zarine and to be loved by her. In one glimpse, Sussanne was seen breaking down in tears.

Sanjay Khan and Zarine Khan's love story

Sanjay Khan and Zarine Khan met when they were in their teens. Sanjay was 18 and Zarine was 14 years old when they moved into their latter's locality. Zarine was in awe of Sanjay, and it was during one of her visits to the beach with her friend, when he said 'Hi' to her by writing it on the beach sand.

Eventually, he asked Zarine out. On their second date, Zarine was proposed to by Sanjay Khan, and she told him that if she felt the same way about him after a year, then they would move forward. Well, in 1966, the duo got married, and welcomed four kids. Zarine had been like a strong pillar beside Sanjay Khan be it during his affair with Zeenat Aman or his tough phase when he endured 65 per cent burns that led him to 13 months of hospitalisation and 72 surgeries.

Zarine Khan talked about Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan got divorced after 14 years of their marriage. Even after that, the duo has always been cordial with each other and their respective family members. Even after his divorce, Hrithik used to call Zarine his 'mom' and she would often talk sweetly about him. She also shared that they were bonded for life, as Hrithik is the father of her grandkids. Zarine also shared that she felt that the actor was in the wrong profession, thereby stating that he is a very gentle human being who could have made a great spiritual leader.
