'I Get Upset..' Yuzvendra Chahal's Sister Takes DIG At His Ex-Wife Dhanashree's Cheating Allegations

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma's divorce made headlines more than their love story. The ace cricketer took a nasty dig at Dhanashree on the final hearing of their divorce in the family court, as he came donning a 'Be Your Own Sugar Daddy' t-shirt. He hinted that his marriage hadn't been a rosy one and that the divorce wasn't amicable. However, Dhanashree's cheating allegations against him left not just him and his fans upset, but also his family was hurt. Now, his sister took a dig at Dhanashree.

Recently, Yuzvendra Chahal's sister, Kenna Dwivedi, shared a lovely message for her brother on the occasion of Bhai Dooj. She even took an indirect dig at his ex-wife, Dhanashree Verma. According to reports, in her IG post, Kenna praised Yuzvendra and revealed that he respects women and always addresses them as 'Ma'am'.  

Kenna even added that he is the one who believes in protecting the dignity of those around him and chooses silence instead of slamming them. Kenna accepted that she gets upset with him when he doesn't speak up for himself but he tells her that silence is the loudest reply. Kenna's post can be read as:

"You’re also the man who truly respects women, the one who addresses every woman as “ma’am," who protects the dignity of every soul around him, and who chooses silence when the world turns mean. Even when I get upset and ask, “Why don’t you say something?" you always remind me that sometimes, time heals everything and silence speaks the loudest."

Further, Yuzvendra's sister added that people know his heart, his character, and feel his protective energy around them. She concluded her post by mentioning:

"People who know your heart, your character, and your soul feel that protective energy, that warmth and strength that makes everyone around you feel safe. Thank you for every teaching, every laugh, and every lesson you’ve given me. I know I’ll make mistakes along the way, but I also know you’ll be there to bring me back on track, just like you always do."

For those who don't know, Dhanashree Verma was seen on the reality show, Rise and Fall, wherein she made several claims about her broken marriage. During an instance, when her co-contestant, Kubbra Sait, questioned her about when she realised that she had made a mistake by getting married and that it wouldn't work. Dhanashree, who was having her breakfast, revealed that she caught Yuzvendra cheating just after two months of their wedding. 

Later, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Yuzvendra Chahal was asked about the cheating allegations. To this, the cricketer shared that he is a sports person, and he doesn't cheat. He said:

"I am a sportsperson and I do not cheat. Agar koi two months mein hi cheat karta toh itna lamba relationship chalta kya? For me, this chapter is over, done and dusted. I have moved forward with my life and everyone else should do, too."
