Dhanashree Verma Spotted At Airport Amid Divorce Rumours With Yuzi Chahal, Looks Unfazed

Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal are hogging the limelight daily. It is no secret that the couple reportedly had arrived in Bandra Court, Mumbai, to finalise their divorce-related proceedings. The pair is rumoured to be staying separately for 18 months and reportedly are heading for separation because of compatibility problems. Amid all this, Dhanashree, on February 22, 2025, was spotted at Mumbai airport heading towards an undisclosed location.

A while back, Dhanashree was seen at Mumbai Airport clad in a black sleeveless top and denim jeans with her flowy tresses left open. She exited her car, hugged a few fans, posed with them, and looked unfazed as she entered the airport's departure gate. Well, it is not known where the dentist turned choreographer headed, but Dhanashree looked calm, composed and not bothered by all the gossip happening around her personal life.

Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal's divorce under judicial consideration

Dhanashree and Yuzi got married in December 2020 and reportedly met during the COVID-19-induced lockdown. She had taught him dance for a couple of months before he proposed to her. Dhanashree's lawyer issued a statement to the media saying that the matter is currently under judice. She also asserted that the media needed to fact-check before reporting, as a lot of misleading information is being circulated. In a statement to the Hindustan Times, Chahal's lawyer, Nitin K Gupta, shared that the divorce petition of Yuzi and Dhanashree was filed mutually and that the case was kept before the Bandra court in Mumbai. Nitin said in the statement:

"Mr. Chahal reached a settlement for obtaining Divorce by Mutual Consent with Mrs. Verma. A Petition for Divorce by mutual consent was presented before the Hon’ble Family Court, Bandra. The matter is currently sub-judice."

Dhanashree Verma claiming divorce alimony touted baseless

Earlier, there have been many reports doing rounds that Dhanashree wanted Rs. 60 crore alimony amount from Yuzvendra. One of her family member quashed the claims, issued a statement and called all the reports baseless. The family member, who did not want to be named, urged everyone not to spread false information and also clarified that the actress did not ask for any alimony money. The statement by the family member of Dhanashree said that her family had been deeply outraged by the baseless claims being circulated about the alimony figure. It read:

"Let me be absolutely clear—no such amount has ever been asked, demanded, or even offered. There is no truth to these rumours whatsoever. It is deeply irresponsible to publish such unverified information, dragging not just the parties but also their families into unnecessary speculation. Reckless reporting like this only causes harm, and we urge the media to exercise restraint and fact-check before spreading misinformation and also be respectful towards everyone’s privacy."

Netizens noticed trouble in the paradise of Dhanashree and Yuzvendra when the cricketer deleted all his social media posts with his wife, and the duo unfollowed one another.
