Yuzvendra Chahal Breaks Silence On 'Divorce T-Shirt, Be Your Own Sugar Daddy', 'Samne Se Kuch Hua..'

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma's divorce made headlines, as rumours about their separation had been circulating since the start of the year. While the ex-couple tried to maintain a dignified silence, Yuzvendra broke it all with his divorce t-shirt, 'Be Your Own Sugar Daddy', which he wore on the day of the final hearing. The cricketer first time talked about the same.

Yuzvendra Chahal finally talked about his divorce t-shirt

Recently, Yuzvendra Chahal made an appearance on Raj Shamani's podcast and shared details of his life so far. He made many revelations when the host questioned him about his divorce t-shirt. Yuzvendra mentioned that he didn't want to create any drama, but something happened, and so he had to give one message, which he gave. Yuzvendra said:

"Meko nahi karna tha drama, I just wanted to give one message and mai ne vo de diya."

When Raj Shamani questioned him about what he wanted to assert from the t-shirt, Yuzvendra laughed out loud. He stated that something happened from Dhanashree's side (without naming her). After which, he gave out this message, which went viral. He was quoted as saying:

"Kyunki saamne se kuch cheej hua tha, aur mera pehle mann nahi tha. Fir saamne se kuch hua toh fir mai ne kaaha ab sambhaal lo ab mujhe nahi parwah kisi ki. Mai ne na kisi ko abuse kra, bus mujhe message dena tha."

When Raj probed him further, Yuzvendra revealed that the settlement negotiation was difficult, and he had signed a good deal. So, he wanted to come out of the marriage sooner. And something happened during that time.

Yuzvendra Chahal further revealed what went wrong in his relationship with Dhanashree Verma. The cricketer stated that they were sure that till the time they were sure that they would part ways, they would not show it on social media. When Raj asked him if he was faking his marriage with Dhanashree Verma, he said 'yes'.

Yuzvendra Chahal revealed that they never talked with each other after the World Cup 2024. He added that he last saw Dhanashree Verma six months ago over a video call for their court hearing. Talking about whether it could have worked out, Yuzvendra said that he gave his 100 percent.

Yuzvendra Chahal talked about his life after divorce. He added that he is scared of meeting female friends, and social media talking about his linkups. Yuzvendra added that it is his biggest fear that people would make life hell for his female friends due to social media. 

Yuzvendra also talked about falling in love again. The cricketer stated that he has fear of attachment and it will take a lot of time. He has a fear of losing again, as it happened recently. Yuzvendra stated that he is not falling in love, but losing the one he falls in love with.
