Yuzvendra Chahal REACTS To Ex, Dhanashree's Cheating Allegations, 'Unka Ghar Mere Naam Se Chal Raha'

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma's personal lives have been grabbing the attention lately. The duo got married in 2020, and by March 2025, their divorce was finalised. Although they are not directly attacking each other, they are also not stepping back from answering each other indirectly or through interviews. Dhanashree is currently in the show Rise and Fall, wherein she made a shocking claim by saying that she got cheated just within two months of her marriage. And now, Yuzi had his reaction to this shocking claim that Dhanashree made on the television.

Yuzvendra Chahal blasted Dhanashree Verma for her cheating allegations against him

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Yuzvendra Chahal was asked about the cheating allegations against him by Dhanashree Verma. To this, the cricketer shared that he is a sports person, and he doesn't cheat. He also mentioned that if he had cheated within two months of their marriage, then the marriage wouldn't have lasted this long, in the first place. Yuzi said that for him, this chapter has been completed, and he has moved forward in his life; so, everyone else should do the same. Yuzvendra can be quoted as saying:

"I am a sportsperson and I do not cheat. Agar koi two months mein hi cheat karta toh itna lamba relationship chalta kya? For me, this chapter is over, done and dusted. I have moved forward with my life and everyone else should do, too."

In the same interview, Yuzvendra Chahal shared that he and Dhanashree had been married for more than four years, and if he had cheated on her in two months, then it was pretty much certain that no one would have stayed in that marriage for that long. Yuzi further claimed that he had moved on in his life, while some other people are stuck in the past as their home is running in his name, only, so there is nothing he can do about it. Mentioning that he's not at all concerned or affected, Yuzi said:

"Agar two months mein cheat hua hota toh kaun continue karta? Main pehle bhi bol chuka hun ki mai past se nikal chuka hun. But some people are still stuck there. Abhi bhi kai log uss cheez ko pakde hue hain, abhi bhi unka ghar mere naam se chal raha hai toh they can continue doing that. I am not concerned or affected."

Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal dated for a while before getting married to each other. However, the couple had only been together for a few years. While neither party has spoken about the actual reason they decided to call it quits, they have made some claims here and there, now and then, which intensified the gossip around them.

While on Rise and Fall, Dhanashree Verma, in a conversation with Kubbra Sait, mentioned that she understood she had made a mistake within two months of marriage, as she had caught him only then. While she didn't elaborate on what she meant, the claim was strong enough to capture the attention, thereby intensifying the scrutiny of the ex-couple's personal life. After their split, Dhanashree Verma was character-assassinated several times, and she has spoken about it quite often, either by questioning the allegations or denying them.
