Indian leg spinner Yuzendra Chahal and his choreographer-actress wife, Dhanashree Verma, are all over the news. The pair, who had a private wedding in December 2020 in Gurgaon, are reportedly heading for separation. The couple have not given an official confirmation about it. Now, a video has gone viral where Yuzi's good friend, Shikhar Dhawan had once shown how the leg spinner had become a coolie for his wife. For the unversed, Dhanashree has always accompanied Yuzi on India's foreign cricket tours.
When India won the T20I series, and after the second ODI game washed off, the Indian team headed to Christchurch from Hamilton. Shikhar Dhawan was leading the Indian team in the absence of Rohit Sharma and showcased an interesting video of Yuzi and Dhanashree from the airport. Shikhar could be heard saying:
"Hua pardah fash. Yeh dekhiye Yuzi yaha coolie bana hua hai. Ek ensaan kitna saman uta ra hai. Yeh dekhiye. Yuzi ka sach."
As seen in the clip, Yuzi and Shikhar looked dapper in a similar-hued blue jacket with orange stripes. Yuzi wore a light shade glare, while Shikhar wore an all-black shade. Yuzi was seen carrying his bag in front of him, a bag on his shoulder, along with one grey and pink-hued trolley bag with a jacket on it.
Going ahead in the video, Shikhar showed Dhanashree entering the frame. She had worn a black jacket, jeans, top, and black shades and tied her hair in a top bun. She was carrying a pink trolley bag and was seen a bit in pain as she touched her knee. When Shikhar asked her what she would like to tell in the video she said:
"Mere pair mei bahut takleef hai nai toh hamesha mei saara duniya ka bojh uthti hu."
When Shikhar sympathised with Yuzi, who carried the trolley bags, and addressed him as 'nanni si jaan', Dhanashree commented with sass and said let the 'nanni si jaan' be strong.

It looked like when Yuzi was at the peak of his married life with Dhanashree, the couple had once gone to visit his friend, Shikhar. Once upon a time, Yuzi's social media handle was decorated with his wedding pictures, and he had also shared a snap with Shikhar. Dhanashree wore cheetah-hued attire and a black jacket, while Yuzi wore a black jacket and blue denim. Yuzi had captioned the post as:
"Best host Great dost."
Dhawan had also attended Yuzi and Dhanashree's wedding and, in his post, wished them a happy married life. Yuzi had got engageed to Dhanashree in 2020. She had also travelled with him to UAE for IPL 2020 and tied the knot after India's ODI, T20I matches against Australia. There has been reported turmoil going on in the lives of Yuzi and Dhanashree. However, the pair has not confirmed about their separation.
