Yuvraj Singh's Father Reveals He Never Gifted Him A 'Kurta' But Spent Rs. 15 Lakh On Watch For Baba

Yuvraj Singh's father, Yograj Singh, is a man of strict principles. Over the years, Yuvraj has openly talked about his difficult relationship with his father, who just wanted him to perform amazingly well in cricket. Recently, Yograj made some shocking remarks on his ex-wife and how she and their son, Yuvraj, abandoned him. He also revealed how his son has never once gifted him anything.

Recently, in an interview with Udta Punjab, Yograj Singh revealed that his hard work and sacrifices were overshadowed. He helped Yuvraj reach such heights with his blood, sweat and tears. He questioned how he supported the four families, never spent a single rupee on himself, and yet his children turned their backs on him. He questioned how he had never been gifted a kurta, while the Baba received a Rs. 15 lakh watch. Yograj said:

"The father who spilled blood, sweat, and tears to help you reach such heights — is he lesser than your Baba? The man who supported four families and never spent a rupee on himself, you turn your back on him? You’ve never bought your father a kurta-pyjama, but the Baba has been gifted a Rs 15 lakh watch?"

In the same interview, Yograj Singh was questioned about why he objected to his ex-wife following the preaching of the Hansali Wale Baba. He said that there is nothing greater than the Guru Granth Sahib. He added that he doesn't trust any of the spiritual gurus. He further stated that the wife cannot press her husband's legs or cook him food, but she is happy to serve the baba. He revealed:

"There is nothing greater than the Guru Granth Sahib… I don’t trust any of these so-called leaders. Perhaps some of them are genuine, but I don’t know. I feel, ‘You couldn’t press your husband’s legs, you couldn’t cook him food, but you were very happy to make food for the Baba’. This is a general statement, not just about my house."

When Yograj revealed that Yuvraj Singh doesn't talk to him

Earlier, in a conversation on the Highbrow Studios YouTube channel, Yograj expressed his dream to see his entire family united, including his wives and all four children and grandchildren. However, it is unlikely as his family members chose to stay away from him. He further added that he doesn't miss them as he likes to be closer to God. He was quoted as saying:

"They know that their father is a decent person. But they also know that I like my own company. They know that I am closer to God than I am with them. They know that I have a separate family. They know this. I have never missed them, but I am grateful that I was able to give them a good upbringing."
