'YRKKH' Fame, Sachin Tyagi On Fasting During Ramadan With Wife, Rakshanda, Says, 'Pahaad Todh Ke..'

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is the longest-running Indian television soap opera. Produced by Rajan Shahi, the series is currently showcasing its fourth generation. However, while many faces have changed during this time, one face has remained constant since the second generation took the screen. Sachin Tyagi has been a part of the show since 2016 and has remained one of the fan favourites. 

Sachin Tyagi opened up about fasting during Ramadan

The holy month of Ramadan is in its final few days, and with Eid just around the corner, Sachin Tyagi has opened up about how it has been for him to fast for 30 days with his wife, Rakshanda Khan. In a conversation with Telly Masala, the actor shared his views on Islam, fasting with his wife and how difficult it is to fast for 30 days in a humid environment.

During the conversation, Sachin was asked about his views on Ramadan and how everyone was together to celebrate the holy month. He responded by saying that he doesn't know what kind of world sees the difference in each other. He added that when they meet together on such occasions, everyone is happy and focuses on their own happiness, well-being, and spiritual upliftment. There is no better time. He further shared about fasting during the Ramadaan with his wife and stated:

"Bohot aashcharya hota tha jo mujhe yaad hai jo sabse gehri yaad hai. Woh ye ki bada unbelievable lagta tha ki 30 din koi aaisa kaise kar sakta hai. Aur ab toh mere ghar mei hi hota hai. Ab unkey saath, kabhi kabhi mujhse bhi nahi raha jaata ki mai bhi nahi ho pata ki vo na kha rahe ho aur mai kha lu toh mere saath bhi aaisa ho jaata hai, ki mai bhi rakh leta hu saath mei. Aap jo karne lago aur jo mann se karne lago, pyaar aur faith ke saath sab ho jaata hai."

Sachin Tyagi opens up about fasting in Mumbai's humid weather

In the same conversation, Sachin was asked about fasting in Mumbai's humid weather when it's being advised to stay hydrated. He stated that when it comes to faith, everything becomes possible. He further stated how one can walk on water or break a mountain if they have faith. He was quoted as saying: 

"Jo faith ho hai uskey baare mei toh kaisa bhi suna hai ki akeeda ho toh aadmi paani pe chal sakta hai, toh ye toh bina pani ke 12-13 ghantey bitaane waali baat hai. Bohot mushkil hai, lekin jahan faith ho waha toh pahaad todh todh ke sadkey banaai hai logon ne. Toh din toh kaat hi lete hai log"

Sachin Tyagi shared his views on Islam

In the same conversation, Sachin Tyagi was asked about his views on Islam. Responding to the same, he stated that he started looking into the religion when he met his now-wife, Rakshanda Khan. He revealed that from what he has gathered, every religion is the same. He stated:

"Jab unkey (Rakshanda) saath mera raabta hua toh mai jaanna chahata tha ki Islam hai kya, toh maine Hadees padhi. Actual mei what is it about. Toh uskey 3000 points the jinta tajurma translation jo tha aur shayad 1200-1400 points maine padhne ki koshish kari. Toh samajhne ki koshish kari ke...ab mujhe auron ka toh pata nahi hai par mujhe aaisa lagta hai ki sab apne apne tareekey se dhoondh rahe hai, baat toh sab ek hi keh rahe hai, kahi aaisa toh nahi suna hai ki koi bol raha 2-3 bhagwaan hai ya god hai, ek hi bol rahe hai sab log. Wo kaise milega, vo bhi man ko pavitra kar ke milega, accha insaan bankey milega. Toh aaisa kuch alag nahi laga mujhe sab same hi laga."
