For Bollywood actress, Yami Gautam, it stands true as she has been beaming with happiness ever since she has started her married life with director, Aditya Dhar. With every other outing, she has been giving major fashion goals to the newly-wedded girls, and her visit to the Golden Temple was no different.

It was on June 4, 2021, when Yami Gautam had stunned the nation by sharing her ‘just married’ picture with Uri: The Surgical Strike directorAditya Dhar, on her IG handle. She had captioned the picture as “In your light, I learn to love - Rumi. With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family. As we embark on the journey of love and friendship, we seek all your blessings and good wishes. A while back, Yami Gautam shared two scintillating pictures from her visit to Golden Temple with her husband, Aditya Dhar on her IG handle. In the pictures, while Aditya can be seen wearing a white kurta-pyjama with a Nehru jacket, it was Yami’s look that oozed out the vibes of a Punjabi bride. Yami opted for a baby pink coloured suit with golden work over her dupatta. Her red bindi and chooda added the new bride charm to her look.

Yami Gautam has been proving that there is nothing wrong with our age-old traditions of wearing laal suhaag ki choori or other traditional ornaments after wedding. While promoting her film, Bhoot Police, Yami had shared a series of pictures on her IG handle. However, it was her modern desi bride swag that had caught our attention. Yami was seen wearing a floral dress, giving modern vibes. She had accentuated her look with red bangles, traditional aatheru, three layers of neckpieces and a pearl hair accessory. She had also flaunted her engagement ring in the pictures.

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Yami Gautam had revealed how her love story with Aditya Dhar had started. When she was asked about when they had started dating, the Vicky Donor actress had said, "I’d say the start was during the promotion of Uri: The Surgical Strike. That’s when we started talking. I wouldn’t call it dating. But yeah, that was a time when we started interacting with each other and started a friendship."

When Yami Gautam was asked about her life after marriage with Aditya Dhar, she had stated that both of them were quite busy with their work schedule and hardly get any time to spend with each other. She had said, "I’ve just been working. We barely got time to spend with each other, but we’re not complaining. The wedding was just beautiful. That’s exactly how we both wanted. It wasn’t planned."
