The Summer I Turned Pretty fans are already glued to the ongoing third and final season of the show that has divided fans more than ever. Throughout social media, there is an all-out tug of war between 'Team Jeremiah' and 'Team Conrad' as 'Belly Conklin's love story is about to reach the crucial part.

The popular show is based on Jenny Han's best-selling trilogy with the same name, and the ongoing third season is based on the final book, We'll Always Have Summer. With only a few episodes left before the Prime Video series bids a farewell, on September 17, find out who 'Belly' will marry, 'Conrad' or 'Jeremiah' at the end.

Where will We'll Always Have Summer leave 'Belly', 'Conrad' and 'Jeremiah'? 

In We'll Always Have Summer, 'Belly' is continuing her relationship with 'Jeremiah', who is a happy-go-lucky brother of her first love, 'Conrad'. They have been dating for two years, but the latter has been unable to move on from 'Belly', keeping the central plot of the book around their love triangle. However, the situation quickly changes when 'Belly' gets to know that 'Jeremiah' had a fling with another girl during their spring break. In turn, he reveals it was during the time they temporarily 'broke up' after a fight.

'Belly' feels cheated and leaves after a fight with him. Soon, 'Jeremiah' realises he doesn't want to lose her and proposes. She immediately agrees, and the focus shifts to the duo's whirlwind wedding in the third season. But just before the big day, 'Conrad' confesses to 'Belly' that he still loves her and 'Jeremiah' overhears.

Do 'Belly' and 'Jeremiah' get married in We'll Always Have Summer?

After doing a lot of preparations, when 'Belly' and 'Jeremiah' are ready to tie the knot, their wedding turns into chaos when 'Jeremiah' and 'Conrad' fight over 'Belly'. Later, 'Jeremiah', in one of the most significant moments, tells 'Belly', "I won't be your excuse. That'll always be Con", marking a change in the story when their wedding is called off. The duo breaks up. It also leaves a crack between 'Conrad' and 'Jeremiah's bond.

'Belly's way back to 'Conrad'

When the wedding is called out, 'Belly' decides to focus on herself and goes to study abroad in Spain. She continues to exchange heartfelt letters with 'Conrad', and slowly they rebuild their bond. They finally meet again after years at her college graduation when she knows that 'Conrad' is the one. 'Belly' at 23 ties the knot at Cousins Beach, where their love story began. In the end, they end up running together towards the ocean like they did as kids, marking a complete circle of their love story.

Although several fans know about the ending of We'll Always Have Summer, the writer, Jenny Han, has made some changes in the on-screen adaptation. So, fans will still have to see who 'Belly' ends up marrying in The Summer I Turned Pretty 3.
