Ariana Grande has once again found herself in the middle of online chaos. However, unlike the past few weeks, it is not about her film, Wicked: For Good, her red-carpet looks, or her music. Instead, a new debate has emerged on the internet regarding whether the pop star will cancel her upcoming Eternal Sunshine Tour, following a wave of health concerns, online criticism, and fresh blind items. All these claims and concerns come after her routine press tour of Wicked: For Good suddenly turned into a series of unexpected questions over her weird behaviour and extreme weight loss.
Speculation about Ariana Grande's absence from her upcoming music tour began after a gossip site, Crazy Days and Nights, shared a blind item post suggesting that an unnamed "A-list actress/singer" intends to cancel her upcoming tour. Fans immediately speculated that it could be Ariana Grande, especially after she contracted COVID-19, just weeks after announcing her 2026 tour dates and tickets going on sale for the shows. Until now, there have been no official statements from the actress's team regarding this matter.

Another factor, which added to the concern, has been Ariana's own comment on the podcast, Good Hang with Amy Poehler, where she described the Eternal Sunshine Tour as her 'own last hurrah' where she claimed that she did not see herself touring again in a "long, long, long, long time". While she meant it in a light-hearted way, fans now wonder if the remark was an early hint that the tour might not go as planned. Meanwhile, the tour is set to begin on June 6, 2026, and many have pointed out that a project of this scale requires months of demanding vocal training, rehearsal, physical preparation, and travel planning. However, given her current health concerns, there is uncertainty surrounding the tour.

Ariana Grande's recent COVID-19 diagnosis has further intensified the chatter around her 2026 tour's future. Ariana had herself revealed the news on Instagram, sharing a picture from her appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, captioned, "Moments before COVID-19." She has subsequently cancelled several appearances, including The Kelly Clarkson Show, and missed multiple Wicked; For Good promo events. Meanwhile, her brother, Frankie Grande, assured fans that she is doing well and has taken time to rest.

Alongside this, Ariana has been dealing with persistent online trolling and debate over her physical appearance during the Wicked: For Good press tour. The majority of her interviews have sparked comments about her being "too thin" or "unwell". Moreover, another section of her fans has urged people to stop commenting on others' bodies. Despite Ariana's calm approach to these conversations, the extreme pressure may prompt her to cancel her upcoming tour.

Even without the health concerns, Ariana's upcoming schedule for 2026 is extremely fully. According to PEOPLE, the singer-actor is fully immersed in acting, with several major projects lined up for her. She is set to join the cast of the upcoming comedy, Focker-in-law, and is expected to appear in American Horror Story Season 13 in October 2026. Moreover, she is set to work on the animated film, Oh, the Places You'll Go! At the same time, Ariana runs her beauty brand, r.e.m beauty, and her billion-dollar fragrance empire.

Well, until there is no official announcement, Ariana's upcoming Eternal Sunshine Tour is on. What do you think about the speculation of her tour cancellation? Let us know.
