"Gotta say you could tell me anything and I couldn't be turned. I've never felt a love like the one I have for Katelyn. We make each other better people. If it was just for the money I'd give her all of it. It's not though (please remember I'm hella sexy) and I know I'm fun and a loveable person. It was on October 18, 2024, two days after Liam's passing, that Kate took to her Instagram story and addressed the tragic incident. She thanked her followers for the kind words they had shared and stated:

"I have been at a complete loss. Nothing about the past few days has felt real. I ask and pray that you'll give me the grace and space to navigate this in private. Liam, my angel. You are everything. I want you to know I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you, Liam."
