Sanya Malhotra talks about a rumour she would like to start

Sanya Malhotra once appeared on Mirchi Plus, where she was asked if she could start a rumour about herself and what that would be. The actress responded to the same and stated that she would like people to think she was dating the former One Direction member, singer and actor, Harry Styles. The clip from 2024 was shared on Reddit, where Sanya could be seen indulging in a lighthearted conversation.

Despite the old video, it has garnered much attention from the netizens. As soon as the video made it to the discussion platform, Reddit commentators quickly flooded the post. A user wrote, "I love how unserious this is!" Another said, "She sounds like those 13-year-old fan girls from 2013." A commenter felt delighted to find out that the actress was fangirling over the star and said, "She's just like us." A Redditor took a humourous jab and referring to another former One Direction member, Zayn Malik, penned:

"Mujhe kya, main toh Barber shop waale One Direction member ka fan tha."

Sanya Malhotra had previously confessed to sliding into Harry Styles' DMs

It was in 2022 when Sanya Malhotra sat for a conversation with Bollywood Bubble alongside Rajkummar. During the chat, the duo was asked to play a game called 'Who's most likely to', and when it was the actress' turn, she was asked, 'Who is most likely to slide into someone’s DMs.' Sanya said she would, without hesitation. Rajkummar, soon after, followed and revealed how the actress had a huge crush on Harry Styles.

He revealed that Sanya had texted Harry Styles on social media and said, "Harry Styles ko har hafte message bhejti hai ye." Sanya interjected and stated, "Har hafte nahi, har mahine." When she was asked if she ever got a response from the star, she responded and was quoted saying:

"Tumhe lagta hai kya. Agar reply aya hota… ye 2 saal se chal raha hai by the way. Agar reply aaya toh mein yaha thodi na hoti."

Sanya Malhotra and Rishab Sharma's dating rumours began after their picture went viral 

While Sanya Malhotra is still waiting for a response from Harry Styles, it was in January 2025 that the actress was spotted with the sitarist, Rishabh Sharma. A picture of them together went viral, and netizens began to speculate about their possible relationship. Further, netizens found their pictures at the same events posing with the same people, intensifying those rumours. Since then, fans have been excited to receive more updates about the duo. However, neither of them has commented on the same.
