The competition included several debutants, the first representatives from Cape Verde, Latina, Mayotte, Palestine, and Rwanda, however, none of them made it to the final round.

Coming to the winner, Fatima Bosch, she was embroiled in a massive controversy during a pre-pageant event on November 4, 2025. At that time, Nawat Itsaragrisil, the director of Miss Universe Thailand and a Miss Universe Organisation (MUO) executive, publicly criticised Fatima during a live stream. He accused her of not posting enough promotional content about the host country on social media and reportedly called her a 'dumbhead'. As a result, many contestants walked out with Fatima, demonstrating solidarity.

The host country's Praveenar Singh lost the prestigious crown to Fatima by just a whisker. Praveenar ended up as the first runner-up, followed by Venezuela's Stephany Abasali, who was named the second runner-up. The Philippines' Ahtisa Manalo followed in fourth position, and rounding out the top five spots is Cote d'Ivoire's Olivia Yacé. All five gorgeous and talented women put up a stellar fashion show for the viewers and brought immense glory to their respective nations.

Besides pageantry, Manika Vishwakarma is also skilled in multiple other spheres. She has been trained in classical dance (specifically Kathak) for a decade and in painting.

Institutions like the Lalit Kala Akademi and the J.J. School of Art have recognised Manika's artistic talents. She was also an NCC (National Cadet Corps) cadet. Manika is also a passionate advocate for mental health and neurodiversity. She is the founder of an initiative called Neuronova, which aims to raise awareness of conditions such as ADHD and autism, promoting the view that these are unique expressions of human potential rather than weaknesses. She has spoken openly about her personal journey with neurodivergence to help break the stigma.
