Manish Prakash Chaudhari is a popular name in the entertainment industry, who is best known for his subtle performances. He might not be the hero of a film, but he is no less than a hero as the actor knows how to amp up his game. Manish never tries too hard to prove his skills, as he has paved his way quietly without typecasting himself in mainstream cinema.
It was during his schooling at St. Paul’s School, Darjeeling, that Manish Chaudhari realised his love for acting as he ventured into school plays. After completing his schooling, he pursued a BA (Hons) in English from Delhi University’s prestigious Kirori Mal College. In college, he joined the College Theatre Society and was an active member.
Manish Chaudhari made his acting debut in 2003 with the film, Rules: Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula. Apart from Hindi films and shows, Manish has also appeared in a few regional movies. He was recently seen alongside South sensation, Vijay Deverakonda in Kingdom. In a conversation with the Indian Express, Manish spoke about working with Vijay and the challenges he faced while shooting Kingdom. Speaking about the same, he said:
“The main challenge for me was the language. I don’t speak Telugu, so I had to do a lot of preparation to learn my lines properly. It wasn’t just about memorising them, but also understanding their meaning before delivering them. Dubbing in a language you don’t know is quite challenging, but I embraced the challenge.”
In 2016, Manish was in a steady relationship with Adri Huysamen, a South African-based PR consultant. He met her in Cape Town during a film shoot, and soon the two fell in love. The couple got engaged in 2016 and were all set to marry. However, their relationship could not culminate in marriage, and they broke up. Speaking about her in a throwback interview with the Times of India, he said:
“Adri is a positive lady and I like everything about her. She is also warm and kind. We plan to get married next year.”
Manish doesn’t believe in rushing into things, be it his professional life or personal life. The actor found his true love and hot married at the age of 54. Yes, you read that right. Manish found his soulmate and true love in Shruti Mishra. It was in 2023, when the duo decided to get married in Gurugram.
The wedding was a three-day affair in the presence of their family and friends. The festivities began with an engagement party, followed by haldi and a grand wedding. The wedding didn’t include celebs as the couple decided to keep it private and authentic.
