According to reports, she has won four World Cup championships in 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2012. In 2002, Lindsey Vonn made her Olympic debut at the Winter Olympics. Most recently, Lindsey Vonn participated in the 2026 Winter Olympics. However, during her run in the women's downhill event on February 8, 2026, the 41-year-old faced a terrible crash.  

She was only 13 seconds into her run when her body appeared to flip and crash into the snow. Apparently, the crash was so severe that Lindsey had to be airlifted off the mountain. While Lindsey Vonn is grabbing the headlines for her unfortunate accident at the Olympics, there's been renewed interest in her private life. For the unversed, while Lindsey Vonn appears to be single at the time of the 2026 Winter Olympics, she was in a relationship with Diego Osorio for quite a few years. According to reports, Lindsey Vonn's ex-boyfriend, Diego Osorio, has experience working in the entertainment industry. Apparently, he has worked not only as an actor but also as a documentarian. In a 2022 interview with Muse by Clio, he discussed his casting in several television and film projects. This includes the likes of HotSpot: A Guide to Finding Love, Bronx SIU, Rashambo, and Dr*g Mule, to name a few. During the same interview, Diego added that he has also “produced and directed several films focused on environmental and immigration issues.” It is worth noting that in 2013, Diego won an award at the Madrid Fashion Film Festival for best performance in the film, Escape from Mondays.  

Diego Osorio is the founder of a tequila company called Lobos 1707 

If reports are believed to be true, Diego Osorio founded a premium tequila company in 2020. The brand in question is called Lobos 1707, where, according to People, Diego currently serves as the chief creative officer. He has a solid understanding of the industry; prior to launching Lobos, Diego made a name for himself in the space after co-founding the holding company, Mezorio Spirits. The other co-founder of the company was Chelsea Clinton's husband, Marc Mezvinsky.  

At the launch of Lobos 1707, the brand shared a press release that surprisingly revealed that LeBron James, the renowned NBA player, is one of its early investors and shareholders. Additionally, the company's CEO was revealed to be Dia Simms, who previously worked with DeLeóon Tequila and Ciroc Vodka.  

Diego Osorio was inspired by his family to create his own tequila company  

Diego Osorio's family history played a significant role in his decision to enter the tequila business and start his own company, Lobos 1707. In a 2021 interview with Cool Hunting, Diego revealed that his family had been in the business for a long time. He confessed that after he began doing research, he “found the story I wanted to tell: that my great-great-grandfather – who I share a name with – was ageing tequila in Spanish wine barrels as he transported it to Spain.”  

In the same interview, Diego claimed he was fully aware that it was a story that should be told and could be told, and that it would also make sense in the marketplace. In 2022, while speaking to Gotham magazine, he claimed that creating a tequila company to honour his family while following his passion for storytelling “was a no-brainer.” It is worth mentioning that ever since Diego launched his tequila brand, Lobos 1707, he has received support from a number of celebrities. This was evidenced by photos he shared in February 2022 from a Lobos 1707 event featuring A-listers like Adele, Kevin Hart, Tobey Maguire, Leonardo DiCaprio, and more.

Lindsey Vonn and Diego Osorio were first linked in May 2021, when photos of them surfaced online. At the time, a source close to the couple told People that Diego and Lindsey had met through mutual friends. Claiming their relationship is fairly new, the insider added that they were still getting to know each other. Reportedly, a month after their pictures surfaced, in June 2021, Lindsey hosted a housewarming party at her new Los Angeles home, where she served Lobos 1707 tequila.

At the beginning of their relationship, Diego and Lindsey kept things pretty low-key and were only photographed on a handful of occasions. However, in later years, when the couple was spotted together outside, it was mostly during sporting events. For one, Diego and Lindsey were spotted sitting courtside at a Los Angeles Lakers game during the 2022 NBA playoffs. The next year, in 2023, the duo enjoyed watching tennis together at the US Open. Additionally, Diego and Lindsey also attended the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Here, they were photographed watching several sports events like gymnastics, skateboarding, and tennis.

Apparently, before Diego started dating Lindsey Vonn, he was in a relationship with Jordan Hewson. For those unaware, she is the daughter of U2 member, Bono. During an interview with Vanitatis in 2017, he revealed that they had met through mutual friends in New York. It is unknown how long they dated, but by May 2021, the pair had broken up.
