The streaming world is buzzing with debates following an explosive live-streaming mistake which brought Lacari, a longtime Twitch creator, under intense scrutiny. During a livestream on January 22, 2026 (ET), Lacari accidentally opened a notepad file that allegedly contained a suspicious link that connected to a folder containing over 1700 disturbing adult files. Those who had been watching the live session, along with fellow creators, are now demanding a permanent ban of the streamer.
The controversy unravelled after Lacari’s Twitch stream accidentally displayed a notepad file containing the link that allegedly opened an EMLOAD folder containing over 1700 illegal adult files with alarming titles. Online users who claimed to access the link reported seeing disturbing terms on the files, such as “j*ilb*it”, “n***sm family”, “teen”, “girls and animals”, and “l*licon”, among many others.

Within a few seconds, the momentary slip turned into a huge controversy, with screengrabs from the stream spreading across social media like wildfire. Discussion platforms like X and Reddit have since been flooded with fiery reactions. One particular thread on Reddit, r/LivestreamFail, racked up tens of thousands of upvotes in a matter of hours. And now, the community is demanding a permanent ban on Lacari from platforms like Twitch and Kick.

Amid the heated reactions and Lacari’s unconvincing explanation about his ownership of the illicit folder, take a closer look at who the controversial streamer is and how his downfall may cost him his reputation permanently.
Lacari’s real name is Tramell Tennyson. Born on June 30, 1989, in Texas, he is not only a streamer but also a popular speedrunner. After launching his Twitch channel in 2017, he built a loyal following, gaining popularity with fighting games like Tekken, God Hand, and Dark Souls. Over the years, Lacari amassed hundreds of thousands of followers on Twitch, reaching around 354K in 2024. As of early 2026, he had a consistent following of around 294K. He briefly streamed on Kick before getting permanently banned from the platform after his recent controversy. Until this week, Lacari was a widely respected creator in his niche, being affiliated with the Mythic Talent and the OTK streaming group.

Long before the notepad leak incident, Lacari had been in a public relationship with fellow streamer Quqco. The two were a popular pair in the streaming community, who even travelled to Korea together to play League of Legends. According to available information, the former couple was romantically involved from 2022 to 2024. Quqco had mentioned her breakup from Lacari in an August 2024 post, through a YouTube video titled “Why Lacari and I broke up”, citing lifestyle differences, clashing priorities, and increasing career focus.

Shortly after Lacari’s recent livestream fail, Quqco spoke out about wanting nothing to do with it. Taking to X on the same day, the streamer shared details about her past relationship, noting that she had “heard allegations” about Lacari’s problematic side and doesn’t want to be associated with him, even after 1.5 years since ending things with him. Sharing the “worst thing” she saw during their time together, Quqco wrote:
“Lacari and I broke up over 1.5yrs ago. When we dated, I had asked to see his pr0n folder bc I heard allegations. I did my due diligence when I suspected something was amiss. When I couldn’t find anything crazy, I stopped suspecting. Clearly, I was wrong. The worst I saw was NTR h*ntai, but now I know he could’ve hid the worst of it. I don’t know why ppl keep associating me with him when he has a new gf, and I’m getting rage baited into a response. So here it is.”
Soon after the notepad was leaked during streaming, Lacari attempted damage control, claiming the file may have been downloaded unknowingly and suggesting that malware or a virus was responsible. He also blamed system behaviour for the file’s visibility. During the same stream, he reportedly searched Texas laws related to certain types of animated adult content. However, the explanation did little to calm the backlash.

Within hours, both Twitch and Kick issued permanent bans on Lacari for severe violations of community guidelines. His profiles on both platforms now display removal notices, signalling just how seriously the incident was taken.
Lacari has not released a formal statement since the bans. However, it looks like the streamer’s momentary lapse has ended a career that took nearly a decade to build.
