For the unversed, Kai Cenat took a hiatus from streaming a while back. However, after his latest video, the question remains: Is the streamer actually quitting Twitch for good? Here's what we know about the video and Kai's past struggle with mental health.

Is Kai Cenat quitting streaming?

The video shared by Kai Cenat started with Kai talking to his mother on the beach, followed by a vlog of him travelling to Italy to announce his own new clothing brand, Vivet. While he gave his fans insight into the process, the video's title left them confused. Well, as it seems Kai is not quitting, but will be focusing more on his other passions. So what was the video really about? He stated:

"I feel like sometimes, people need to self-reflect and take a step back from the broad perspective of what their life has been. I believe that there is more to the world than is much greater than myself. The energy and passion to do more and create are within me. That’s why I quit."

In the video, Kai Cenat has opened up about deciding to "quit overthinking" and "quit staying in my head about the goals [he has]." Instead, he wants to pursue those goals, even though some of them might not work. He expressed his need to see what he can do. As soon as the video went live, fans started responding to the announcement. The general reaction was positive; most appreciated his sentiment and plans. However, some felt deceived by the title of his video, assuming Kai was actually quitting streaming, only to find out otherwise.

Kai Cenat's secret project is an ode to his passion

Kai Cenat has never explicitly said that he plans on actually quitting streaming, and now, with the clarification that the I Quit video was actually about quitting "self-doubt and overthinking", fans can finally take a breather. Kai currently has over 20 million followers on Twitch and is one of the biggest streamers on the platform. He recently finished up another 'Mafiathon' subathon event and was spotted in Italy after. While fans believed he was simply on vacation, he was actually hard at the secret project, making clothes and starting up his new fashion brand. He stated:

"This is the first time I've had a passion for something besides content creation. This is not me sticking my name on a brand and money-grabbing."

Kai Cenat's struggle with mental health

He reflected on how badly the pressure was affecting his self-worth, saying he constantly felt he could not achieve his goals because he was only known for 'streaming'. He stated:

"The reason I've really been in my head is that I just want to do more. I've [come] to realise that I'm a true creator, and I’m very passionate about creating, and I have other goals and things that I just want to achieve and do more of."
