The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star, Jen Shah, has been released after spending nearly three years behind bars. When she finally stepped out of the Federal Prison on December 10, 2025, in Bryan, Texas, pictures from her emotional reunion with her husband, Sharrieff Shah and their two sons made fans emotional. Everyone hugged her in a heartfelt moment, and the cameras discreetly took the pictures. The moment has left some viewers curious about her husband, who stood by her throughout the ordeal. So, here's everything you might want to know about Sharrieff Shah.
Sharrieff Shah, also known as "Coach Shah," is more than just the famous spouse of a reality TV star. He is a well-respected football coach, lawyer and an ex-NFLPA-certified agent. He works around law, sports and player development. Sharrieff has spent more than a decade shaping college athletes as the University of Utah's special teams coordinator and cornerbacks coach. During his tenure, he established a strong reputation, ultimately becoming one of the program's most influential figures.

Before Sharrieff Shah entered into coaching in 2012, he had spent 12 years practising law. Academically, he has earned multiple degrees from the University of Utah, including a Juris Doctor. Overall, his dedication and work ethic have long been admired in the industry. But more significantly,, in recent years,, he had become a rock of support for his wife, Jen Shah,, who was embroiled in a legal fraud case, facing more than six years in prison. According to PEOPLE, he was a "constant source of stability" throughout her legal battles.

Jen Shah and Sharrieff Shah's love story began in a college class at the University of Utah. Soon, they developed a strong chemistry, and they tied the knot on August 27, 1994. They welcomed two sons, Sharrieff junior, 31 and Omar, 21. Jen famously converted to Islam after marrying Sharrieff and often credited him for sharing her personal life. Despite her legal troubles, he never left her side and wishing him a Valentine's Day from Prison in 2025, she penned:
"Even from miles away, my love and gratitude for you are stronger than ever."

Jen Shah became one of the most controversial stars in Housewives history after her arrest in 2021. Her arrest was filmed live during the second season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. After initially denying the charge, she pleaded guilty toto conspiring to to commit wire fraud in a nationwide telemarketing scheme that targeted thousands of victims. Many of those included senior citizens. Subsequently, she was sentenced in 2023 to 78 months (6.5 years) in federal prison. She was ordered to pay more than USD 6.5 million in restitution. However, PEOPLE reported her sentence was reduced multiple times due to her "good behaviour", participation in prison programs and early restitution payments.

Jen Shah who was earlier scheduled for prison release in 2028 has been released three years earlier in 2025. Although, her next steps are unclear in life, her husband, Sharrieff Shah will be surely by her side.
