Jaaved Jaaferi, born Sayed Jaaved Ahmed Jaffrey, is an Indian actor, dancer, producer, and comedian whom we have all come to love. The actor has been a major part of the 90s kids' childhood, from lending his voice to the Japanese TV show, Takeshi's Castle and Ninja Warriors, to making us go Boogie Woogie with him. Fans have followed his career every step of the way.
However, while fans know the actor's professional journey like the back of their hands, they haven't been as familiar with his personal life. The much-loved Jaaved Jaaferi has been married twice. So, as the actor continues to entertain us, let us introduce you to his first wife, Zeba Bakhtiar.

Zeba Bakhtiar is a well-known Pakistani actress. She hailed from Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan. She was born on November 5, 1965. Her father was a Pakistani, while her mother was an English woman with Hungarian roots. Zeba's father, Yahya Bakhtiar, was a lawyer, politician and pre-independence Muslim League activist who served as the Attorney General of Pakistan, and played a key role in framing Pakistan's current constitution. He met his wife in the early 1940s in the UK and got married after graduating from University College London.

Zeba was raised in Quetta and later moved to Karachi. She has two brothers, Salim and Karim and a sister, Saira. She made her television debut in the Pakistani drama, Anarkali, in 1988. After her Hindi film debut in 1991, she appeared in many Bollywood films, including Mohabbat Ki Arzoo, Stuntman, Jai Vikraanta, and Muqadama. However, unlike her debut film, Henna, none of her other films were successful, and eventually she moved back to Pakistan.

Zeba Bhaktiar is the daughter of a Pakistani politician who made a big name for herself in the Hindi film industry. So much so that she even gained a place as Raj Kapoor's favourite actress. In the 1990s, when Raj was exploring the film industry as a filmmaker, he decided to direct a romantic drama, which was later titled Henna. The film started under Raj. Unfortunately, he passed away during production, which led his eldest son, Randhir Kapoor, to complete the film.

Raj Kapoor wanted to launch a fresh face with the film, and that's when he came across the gorgeous Indo-Pak actress, Zeba Bakhtiar. Her beauty led Raj to cast her opposite Rishi Kapoor, marking her debut in the Hindi film industry. The film was a massive success, which further contributed to her rise. Zeba became an overnight star in India; she was already an established actress in Pakistan.

Zeba Bakhtiar got married to Jaaved Jaaferi in 1989, years before she made her Hindi film debut. When the news of their marriage made headlines, Zeba refuted the claims, calling them "rubbish speculation". However, it was Jaaved who made their nikhanama public. However, their marital bliss was short-lived, and the couple called off their marriage within a year. They went their separate ways after a mutual divorce.
After parting ways with Jaaved Jaaferi, Zeba Bakhtiar found love again with the singer, Adnan Sami. The Bollywood and Pakistani singer was smitten by Zeba's beauty and charms. The love-struck couple tied the knot in 1993 when he was just 22 years old. However, Adnan was not a well-known name at the time, so the news of their affair never made headlines. The couple also starred in a Pakistani film, Sargam. Soon after their family expanded, the couple welcomed a baby boy.

Adnan and Zeba named their bundle of joy, Azaan Sami Khan. However, their marriage didn't last long, and after four years of marital bliss, they decided to part ways, getting a divorce in 1996. But their divorce was anything but smooth, and the couple fought for the custody of their son, which lasted for 18 months. In an interview with Aamna Haider Isani, Zeba spoke about the custody battle and said:
"I lost my mind. I was functioning, but not really, because that coping technique comes from somewhere. It was quite challenging. But I'm glad, Azaan, and I made it back."

The actress gave love several chances. However, despite her attempts to find forever, her luck never favoured her. She had first married a man named Salman Valliani from Quetta in 1985, with whom she had a daughter. But within a year, they divorced, and her daughter was later reportedly adopted by her own sister. After that, Zeba gave marriage another go with Jaaved and Adnan. Nonetheless, both of her marriages ended in divorce.
After many years, love knocked at her door, and she married Sohail Khan Leghari in 2009. They divorced in the same year. Zeba Bakhtiar never found her forever, but she has built a life for herself. She is 63, living alone, and has found peace with the fact that she is her own soulmate.
