Who is Callum Turner, who caught Dua Lipa's heart? 

Callum Turner, born and raised in West London, is a British actor and model known for his versatile on-screen performances. Despite his polished on-screen presence, he grew up on a London estate and supported his local football club, Chelsea. The 35-year-old rose to fame for his breakout roles in films such as Queen & Country, War & Peace, and The Capture, which helped establish him as one of Britain's most promising actors. 

Callum later rose to international fame for playing 'Theseus Scamander' in the Fantastic Beasts series. Also, he was seen alongside Barry Keoghan and Austin Butler in the 2024 Apple TV+ miniseries, Masters of the Air. Before venturing into acting, Callum had left school at 16 to pursue a career in football. He played semi-professionally for a short time before joining a casting website at 19 that later changed his life. Soon, Callum began modeling for Burberry. Apart from acting, he is also a filmmaker and directed a short film titled Shift the Plane in 2018, inspired by his working-class upbringing.

Dua Lipa and Callum Turner's love story began in early 2024 when they met at the Masters of the Air premiere afterparty in London. The actor later revealed to The Sunday Times that they began talking after they found they were reading the same book, Trust by Hernán Díaz. They looked at each other and realised they were even on the same page. Soon, the literary moment blossomed into a romance. Later that year, they began to make public appearances. A month later, Dua confirmed their engagement in British Vogue. She revealed that Callum himself designed her custom ring with help from her friends and sister.

Callum Turner recently opened up to The Sunday Times about managing their long-distance relationship as the global pop star continues her Radical Optimism world tour. The 35-year-old revealed that they manage their long-distance relationship by FaceTiming each other. At the same time, they believe that even travelling to meet each other for a brief period is worth it. Callum shared that he once flew to Boston for only two days just to see her, and even though it left him exhausted, it was worth every second. According to Mirror UK, the couple, who are reportedly planning their wedding over FaceTime, have not decided on a wedding date, but continue to make their relationship a priority despite busy schedules.
