Lincoln Townley, 52, is a millionaire modern artist who has earned a name for himself by making emotionally charged paintings and celebrity portraits. Before becoming famous through his artwork, he worked as a celebrity publicist and PR manager in London. Lincoln took the paintbrush for the first time in his hand during his 40s and immediately rose to fame. His artwork has been exhibited across different countries in the world, like London, Australia and Los Angeles. According to The Sun, Lincoln made a USD 3 million deal in exchange for selling six paintings to a US buyer. 

Apart from PR and art, Lincoln starred in a film with his now wife, which showcased her struggles with mental health. Later, the duo starred in the BBC's Unbreakable, which brought more spotlight to him. Before tying the knot with Denise, Lincoln was married to Beverley Scales, and they had a son together.

Denise Welch met Lincoln Townley in her 50s when she was dealing with a difficult time in her life after her divorce from her second husband, Tim Healy. They unexpectedly connected and fell in love, defying their 14-year age gap. The couple tied the knot in 2013 in a fairytale wedding at the Algarve, Portugal, and after more than a decade, the couple are still going strong. Describing his feelings for Denise, Lincoln once told the Daily Mail: 

"My most brilliant achievement was persuading Denise to marry me. I turned 40 last year and I have never met anyone like Denise, never been close to anyone like Denise, never loved anyone like I do Denise."

When Denise Welch met Lincoln, she was still struggling with her alcohol abuse and like Denise, Lincoln had also struggled with a substance abuse problem. However, rather than continuing with the flow, the duo credit each other for their win against substance abuse. The Unbreakable star's struggle with alcohol wasn't unknown to her fans, and in one of her Instagram posts, she revealed how she won the battle against substance abuse. 

She revealed that just one year before her third marriage in 2012, she decided to quit alcohol for good. Denise recalled that one major moment which made her give up on alcohol was when, one day, she woke up after a night that she couldn't recall and saw her photo in the newspaper of her drunken state. Her then-boyfriend and now husband, Lincoln, told her that he 'couldn't live' with how they were at that time. Since she was afraid of losing him, it became a much-needed wake-up call for her, and after that, she gave up on alcohol and has had an amazing marriage with him, while her three children can live a better life knowing that she is safe and happy.
