The shocking discovery of a 15-year-old girl's body inside a Tesla registered to singer, D4vd has left fans and the music industry in shock. It all began when the vehicle, found abandoned in the Hollywood Hills, was later towed to an impound lot. There, the police uncovered decomposed remains of a young girl. Soon, she was identified as Celeste Rivas, a teenager who went missing in April 2024 from Lake Elsinore, California. As the investigation continues, the spotlight has turned to D4vd's private life, leaving many wondering if he was the 'David' dating Celeste and had a link with her or not.

Who is D4vd dating?

D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, is known for hit tracks like Romantic Homicide. He is presently on his Withered world tour. But despite his rising fame, little is known about his love life. The singer once sparked curiosity in 2024 when he responded to a fan post linking him to fellow artist, Nessa Barrett. He had put an end to the speculation by writing "girl, I am happily married bye," with laughing-through-tears emojis. 

However, the statement has never been verified. At the same time, there are no official records of him being married. Apart from his playful exchange, D4vd has kept his personal relationships largely away from the public eye. Due to his secrecy, rumours about D4vd's dating life have been intense. Some of it comes from his close collaborations with fellow musicians like 21 Savage and Kali Uchis. But others believe the singer has a private relationship away from the spotlight. The only certain thing amid all this is that he has never publicly confirmed being in a relationship.

Is he the same 'David' who was dating Celeste Rivas, mentioned by her mom?

One of the most disturbing details came from Celeste's mother. She told TMZ and other outlets that before her daughter went missing, she had been dating someone named 'David." This immediately raised questions about whether D4vd and Celeste have crossed paths. Adding to the fire, both D4vd and Celeste shared an identical tattoo, the word "Shhh…" inked on their right index fingers. Although it is a common tattoo design and celebrities like Rihanna and Lindsay Lohan have it. But the similarity has left many confused and wondering about the time of the given tragic circumstances. At this stage, police have not confirmed any personal link between the singer and the teenager.

D4vd has cancelled his world tour as the investigation continues

The discovery has already impacted D4vd's career. He cancelled his Seattle concert at Showbox SoDo shortly after the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed Celeste's identity. The LAPD is treating the case as murder. But the exact cause of death remains "deferred." Police also clarified that while the Tesla was registered to D4vd. It was not reported stolen, and they are still working to determine who was driving it before it was abandoned on September 8.

The LAPD is continuing to investigate the case while those close to Celeste and the singer await a conclusion.
