Who Is Akhil Akkinenie's Wife, Zainab Ravdjee? Hyderabad-Based Artist, Born In A Business Family

The happy bells are ringing all around the Akkineni household as a new member joined their family. Zainab Ravdjee entered a new chapter with the love of her life, Akhil Akkineni. The duo hopped on the forever ride on June 6, 2025, in the presence of their loved ones, including Akhil's father, Nagarjuna, his brother, Naga Chaitanya and sister-in-law, Sobhita Dhulipala.

The intimate wedding has been making the buzz across the internet, as the Akkineni family's special place, Annapurna Studio, once again became the witness to a happily ever after. The studio holds a special place for the entire Akkineni family as it represents their legacy in the Telugu film industry. However, apart from the wedding itself, there is another detail that the fans have been intrigued by, it's about the bride, Zainab Ravdjee. Zainab Ravdjee's family and education

Zainab Ravdjee is a woman of several talents, she is an artist, entrepreneur and a former actress. Born in the Ravdjee family, she is the daughter of Zulfi Ravdjee, who is a well-known industrialist in Hyderabad, and Amina Ravdjee. For the unversed, Zainab's father, Zulfi, was also a close advisor to the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He was also a special representative of the Andhra Pradesh government.

Zainab hails from Hyderabad, Telangana, and she attended Gitanjali School in Begumpet, Hyderabad, and Nasr School, Hyderabad. She later pursued a course in fine arts from Hamstech College of Creative Education, Hyderabad. Zainab has a brother, Zain Ravdjee, who is the chairman and managing director of ZR Renewable Energy Pvt. Ltd. 

Zainab Ravdjee's career and love for art

While Zainab Ravdjee grew up in Hyderabad, she later shifted to Dubai and then London, before finally building a home for herself in Mumbai. She is a well-known artist, who grew popular for her abstract painting and fragrance design work. However, her love for art was not something newly found; she had a keen interest in creative works since she was a kid. Zainab started painting at the age of 7 and was mentored by the renowned Indian painter, MF Hussain. 

Zainab Ravdjee, eager to explore her creative side, shifted to Dubai when she was only 21 years old. She soon started organising art shows in Dubai and across the globe. Zainab later moved to London, where she worked as a painter. Her artwork is a perfect balance of traditional and modernity. However, her most popular works to date remain in her art exhibition named 'Reflection', which was held at Hyderabad's Kalakriti Art Gallery. Over the years, Zainab has also worked as a perfumer and even played a small role in the Hindi musical drama film, Meenaxi: A Tale of Three Cities in 2004. She even dabbled in blogging under her blog named, 'Once Upon The Skin'. 

Zainab Ravdjee and Akhil Akkineni's love story

Zainab and Akhil both prefer to live a private life, hence the details of how they met are not widely known. However, it is believed that the couple got engaged in 2024 after being in a relationship for three years. According to several reports, the couple was supposed to get married in December 2024, but they postponed the wedding as it would have clashed with Akhil's elder brother, Naga Chaitanya's marriage to Sobhita Dhulipala which was held on December 4, 2025.
