Whitney Leavitt Reacts To Surpising 'DWTS' Elimination, Says 'Was Like Tonight Might Be The Night..'

The electrifying semifinals of Dancing with the Stars Season 34 have come to an end, giving the fans their much-awaited top 5 finalists who will compete for the mirrorball trophy in the final on November 25, 2025. After witnessing the six remaining pairs present two dancing routines in a ballroom lit in iconic Prince purple, it could easily be called one of the most competitive episodes of this season. However, at the end of the segment, there was one lovely couple who had to say goodbye to the dream, and unfortunately, this time it was Whitney Leavitt.

Whitney Leavitt on being eliminated from Dancing with the Stars

After the nerve-wracking semifinal of Dancing with the Stars, the recently eliminated pair, Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas, came forward in their 'sweatshirts' to have a candid conversation with Entertainment Tonight's Denny Directo. The dancing duo reflected on the elimination and revealed that she wasn't sure she would even make it to the semifinals.

During the conversation, Whitney Leavitt shared that she feels extremely happy and powerful now that she has had the opportunity to be a part of the show. The influencer shared that, while she doesn't exactly know what it is, she feels the show has made her childhood dreams feel more attainable and real. She was quoted as saying:

"I didn't even think I was going to make it this far, like every single week I would talk to Mark (Ballas) and be like 'I don't know, tonight might be the night, but I am happy with what we have done so far.' So I am so grateful, I don't know what that is, maybe it's the little kid in me who has all these dreams and felt unattainable, but now they feel within reach."

Whitney Leavitt on how her husband became a constant source of support

In the same interview, Whitney Leavitt, married to Conner Leavitt, revealed she wouldn't have been able to undertake this journey without her husband's support. The influencer revealed that while she got to live her dream on the stage of Dancing with the Stars, it was her husband who took care of the kids so she could focus on the competition. She was quoted as saying:

"It brought us so much closer, like I will forever be so grateful I feel like he really picked up..I shouldn't say slack, but I wasn't at home, so he was a stay at home dad, keeping the house clean, attending to the kids. Like I have a baby who still keeps getting up in the night, like he gets up with the baby. I wouldn't have been able to do this without him."
