It was in 1997 when Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri were expecting their first child, Aryan Khan. While Gauri was pregnant, Shah Rukh was busy shooting for Subhash Ghai’s blockbuster film, Pardes. However, not many people know that the famous song, Ye Dil Deewana from the movie was shot with Shah Rukh’s duplicate. Since there was some complications in Gauri’s pregnancy, Shah Rukh had to leave the song in the middle.
In a throwback interview with Bollywood Hungama, director Subhash Ghai had elaborated on the same and had revealed:
“We kept this song for the last. We had two days left. Shah Rukh Khan was cooperative throughout the movie but towards the end, he had to leave two days before because I think Gauri was probably pregnant. He said that he needs to go to Delhi and cannot extend for another 2-3 days.”

“I asked him to come at 7 in the morning and the car was ready and I asked him to just give three close up shots. I picturised the song in 2 hours that morning. If you see the song has various locations and not just one. All the longshots of the car were taken with Shah Rukh's duplicate. Shah Rukh had only given close-ups."
As per a Times Of India report, Shah Rukh Khan had talked about the moment Gauri had gone into labour for the first time, and he had thought that she would die. Gauri had a Caesarean to deliver Aryan Khan, and seeing her in so much pain with all the tubes inserted and his wife completely frozen, Shah Rukh was very scared. He had also said at that moment, he wasn’t thinking of the baby and was worried about his wife, who was shivering in pain.
Well, there is no denying the fact that Shah Rukh is a doting husband, who can go to any lengths for his wife, Gauri!
