The Sholay actor, Dharmendra is known to have a soft corner for the three Khans – Shah Rukh, Salman, and Aamir. He once mentioned in an interview that Salman Khan is a genuine and emotional person by nature. During the same interview, the veteran actor shared a heart-touching incident and gesture done by Salman.
Salman Khan and Dharmendra have worked together in the movie, Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya. Apart from the great on-screen chemistry between them, they also share a warm bond in real life. When Dharmendra was doing various interviews for the film, Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se, he happened to share an incident related to Salman Khan.
The respectable veteran actor shared an incident when he was shooting with Salman Khan. Recalling the same, he said that accidentally, the camera fell into the lake, and it was Salman who didn’t hesitate for a second before jumping deep into the lake to bring back the camera.
Dharmendra, during the same promotional event for Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se, had put light on Salman's gesture and also mentioned that he has a soft corner for the young actor. Not only this, Dharmendra called Salman a genuine human being. The former's sons, Bobby Deol and Sunny Deol too share a warm bond with bhaijaan.
Salman Khan and Dharmendra worked as co-actors in 1998, for the movie, Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya. Directed by Sohail Khan, the film featured Salman as 'Suraj Khanna' and Dharmendra as 'Thakur Ajay Singh'. The film's romantic story fusioned with comedy also featured Kajol, Arbaaz Khan, and Anjala Zaveri among others. After working together in Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, both the actors shared the screen when Salman made a cameo in the song, Rafta Rafta, for the film, Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se.
