What To Watch This Weekend On OTT: 'Maranamass', 'Bhool Chuk Maaf', 'Dear Hongrang' And More

The summers have reached their peak, and going out on weekends seems a distant dream as the sun is too harsh on all beings. But with OTT platforms and some amazing releases every weekend, the fun has only increased. Several fresh movies and web series are making their way on OTT platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Sony Liv. Here's a list of what's HAWT this weekend on OTT!

#1. Rajkummar Rao's Bhool Chuk Maaf a sci-fi comedy 

Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi's Bhool Chuk Maaf is directed by Karan Sharma, and it is a science fiction comedy film. The film will be streaming on Amazon Prime starting May 16, 2025. Earlier, it was set to hit the theatres on May 9, 2025, but it got delayed due to the India-Pakistan conflict and tensions on the western border. The film also features Sanjay Mishra, Zakir Hussain and Raghubir Yadav. 

#2. Neil Nitin Mukesh's film, Hai Junoon! Dream. Dare. Dominate.

If you love musical drama, then Neil Nitin Mukesh's film, Hai Junoon! Dream. Dare. Dominate. is the one for you. It stars Jacqueline Fernandez as the protagonist. It is directed by Abhishek Sharma and will be streaming on JioHotstar. It is a story about passion, rivalry and finding yourself in a world full of expectations. The film is packed with high-energy performances, intense rivalries and some emotional moments. 

#3. For K-drama lovers Dear Hongrang

If you are a K-Drama enthusiast, then this weekend you can binge watch on historical Korean drama, Dear Hongrang which featured actors Lee Jae-wook and Jo Bo-ah in the main lead. 'Jae-yi' is searching for her half-brother, 'Hong-rang' played by Jae-wook. However, after 12 years 'Hong-rang' returns, she find out more about the kind of man he is. The show is streaming on Netflix. 

#4.  Love, Death and Robots Volume 4 for animations lovers

If you love animated series then Love, Death and Robots Volume 4 is the one for you. It consists of short films produced by different casts and crews. However, some episodes have some overlap, ther series title refers to each episode's theme and it is in connection with one or more of the three titular subjects. 

#5. Overcompensating for comic lovers

If you do not watch heavy-stuff and wants to spend a relaxing weekend laughing over little things, then Overcompensating, streaming on Amazon Prime Video is the one for you. The comedy show is created by Benito Skinner and it also features him in the main role as a former 'football player'. However, he is facing trouble with his sexuality. So, in order to fit in, he becomes friend with an outsider. To know more, you know where you have to head!

#6. For documentary lovers, American Manhunt: Osama bin Laden is a good watch

The Netflix is streaming the much-awiated documentary, American Manhunt: Osama Bin Laden. If you are always wondered how the CIA tracked down the terrorist behind 9/11 attack then this is the documentary you must add to your watchlist. With rare footage and interviews from CIA insiders, the documentary will give you chills as it takes you through search of Osma Bin Laden.
