Was Sophia Hutchins' Fatal Crash Caused Due To Alcohol Or Another Person? Here's What New Report Say

Caitlyn Jenner (formerly known as Bruce Jenner) has always been the centre of spotlight with the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Especially after her transformation, Caitlyn's close friend and business manager, Sophia Hutchins, was talked about in media. However, her sudden death in a fatal accident on July 2, 2025, led to major speculation around what might have led to the accident.

Some alleged she was under the influence of alcohol or drugs, while others felt that someone might have purposely caused the tragedy. Now, finally, months after the incident, a new report from TMZ and official authorities has revealed the clear details behind the final incident.

Did Sophia Hutchins get into an accident due to alcohol or a plan by someone? 

According to TMZ, Sophia Hutchins, 29, passed away on July 2, 2025, in Malibu, California. She reportedly died after her 2013 Polaris four-wheeler struck the rear bumper of a 2016 Mazda sedan. The collision caused her ATV to go off the shoulder and fall nearly 350 feet into a ravine. She was pronounced dead at the accident scene itself. According to the authorities, high-speed driving might have played a role in the accident, but investigations ruled out any intentional wrongdoing.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner later confirmed that multiple blunt force injuries caused Sophia's death. At the same time, the manner of death was classified as accidental. In addition, US Weekly revealed that a new medical examiner's report in September 2025 confirmed Sophia did not have alcohol or drugs in her system at the time of the crash. Although her initial test suggested the presence of benzodiazepines, more tests confirmed that she did not have any anti-anxiety medication detected in her bloodstream. TMZ highlighted that the accident appeared to be caused by Sophie Hutchins' ATV's crash with a car. The unexpected push led her to lose control and fall off the cliff.

How did Sophia Hutchins have an accident? 

On the morning of July 2, 2025, Sophia Hutchins' ATV collided with the Mazda in the Malibu mountains. The two people in the Mazda were uninjured. But Sofia tragically died due to the fall. Sergeant Eduardo Saucedo of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said that the crash looked to be caused by excessive speed and misjudgment rather than any foul play. A while ago, Caitlyn Jenner visited the accident site, but gave no public comment. She simply mentioned that she was going through a 'tough time' in life.
