Ranveer Allahbadia has been hitting the headlines with his inappropriate remark on Samay Raina's show, India's Got Latent. While appearing on the show, Ranveer made some comments about parent's intimacy, and it brought him into deep-neck controversy. While the investigation is going on, and Ranveer apologised on his part stating that he made a mistake and comedy was not his forte, internet users are not ready to let it go, and they started debating. Amid this, an old remark of Ranveer about him not being a good son surfaced online.

Ranveer Allahbadia once talked about not being a 'good son' to his mother

In an interview on Ankur Aggarwal's podcast, Ranveer Allahbadia talked about not being a good son to his mom. The host stated that he feels that he's not a good son as he doesn't give his mom as much time as she deserves. He also added that he tires and understands that he needs to do the same, but he cannot do it, being super busy. Stating being unsure about when he will be a good son, Ankur said:

"Maybe I am not a good son. I don’t give her the time she deserves. We have made our lives so busy. I try, I understand. But I don’t know when I’ll be able to do this [be a good son].”

Ranveer Allahbadia further asked Ankur Aggarwal if he thinks himself to be a good son. To which, the reply was a 'no' again. Ranveer admitted that he feels the same way, that he's not a good son, while mentioning that he loves his mom, but there's nothing that could be done. Ranveer could be quoted as saying:

"Ye cheez mujhe bhi feel hoti hai. Yaar I love my mom but… kya karein?"

What happened on IGL's set that brought Ranveer Allahbadia into controversy

On India's Got Latent, which is Samay Raina's show, judges roast the contestants. In one of such episodes, which was graced by BeerBiceps and Rebel Kid, the former roasted a female contestant, and his remark raised eyebrows. Ranveer, who has a wide reputation among his fans, started being called out for his inappropriate remark about parents' intimacy. Yes! On the show, Ranveer asked the contestants if they would keep watching parents' intimacy or join them to put a stop to it forever. This comment left Samay Raina shocked. Well, such comments brought along an FIR, which was lodged against Samay, Ranveer, and Apoorva for their use of crass and abusive language on their show.

On the other hand, amid this deep-neck controversy, Ranveer Allahbadia took to his social media handle and dropped a video message, while asking for an apology. He said comedy isn't his forte, and his comment was not only inappropriate but was not funny as well. He apologised and stated that he wouldn't give any justification for whatever had happened but he had asked the makers to cut the portions wherein the comments were used. For the unversed, the video has been taken down from YouTube after the widespread controversy.
