Hollywood actress, Catherine Zeta-Jones, has recently garnered a lot of limelight for her role as 'Morticia Addams', mother of 'Wednesday' in the popular series, Wednesday Season 2. However, do you know that Catherine is a die-hard fan of Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster film, Om Shanti Om? Yes, you read it right. The Wednesday star’s recent Instagram story clearly stated what we said. Earlier in an interview, both Catherine and her husband, Michael Douglas, shared that they are literally obsessed with the Bollywood film, featuring SRK and Deepika Padukone.

Catherine Zeta-Jones, who is well known for her roles in the films, No Reservations and The Mask of Zorro, is a Bollywood fan. Her recent post has left fans in a frenzy, in which she shared that she is enjoying SRK's movie, Om Shanti Om, while waiting for Donald Trump at the US Open. On September 9, 2025, Catherine took to her Instagram Stories and posted a Reel from the 2007 hit film, Om Shanti Om, featuring the song, Dhoom Ta Na. Along with Reel, she penned:

"Waiting for Trump to take his seat at the US Open. Enjoying Om Shanti Om while we wait and wait in the car."

No sooner did Catherine Zeta-Jones share the post than the audience took the matter to the discussion platform, Reddit. A Redditor wrote, "She has excellent taste." Drawing parallels, a Redditor quipped, "Now I can tell people one similarity between me and Zeta Jones is that we both love Om Shanti Om." Pointing out how SRK’s PR has grown, a Redditor commented, "SRK pr keeps getting bigger." A user joked that now that Catherine Zeta-Jones has showered love on the film, Om Shanti Om, the director, Farah Khan, will try to reach her. The comment can be read as, "Farah and Dileep on their way to Jeeta mem kitchen to cook pav bhaji."

Back in 2019, Hollywood power couple, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas attended the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit in New Delhi. The duo surprised fans with their confession about admiring Bollywood movies, particularly Shah Rukh Khan’s hit film, Om Shanti Om. The Wednesday star confessed that her family had developed a deep affection for the film, so much so that her children grew up singing its songs.

Michael added that the romantic movie had become a part of their festivities, noting how, during Christmas, every member in their home would sing tracks from the 2007 film. At the same event, Catherine was even seen dancing with Anil Kapoor to the film’s lively title track, much to the audience’s joy. Sharing that she is a Bollywood fan, Catherine said:

"I don’t think people understand my obsession with Om Shanti Om."

Years later, in 2023, Catherine Zeta-Jones once again spoke about her deep connection with the Bollywood film industry, while attending the International Film Festival of India in Goa. She expressed her love for India, saying she cherished both the country and its people. Expanding her admiration for Indian cinema, the actress mentioned that she loved the Irrfan Khan starrer, The Lunchbox.
