Do you remember the famous 'Addams' family? When Netflix in 2022 introduced Wednesday, it was written that Jenna Ortega's show would be successful. The American supernatural mystery series, Wednesday, is based on the story of 'Wednesday Addams' and has been created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. Jenna essays 'Wednesday' and the first season showcased her journey at the Nevermore Academy. In the first season, she managed a murder mystery, and now the makers have dropped season 2 of the show on August 6, 2025, and the audiences are pretty upset over the same.

Netizens on X are upset over Wednesday Season 2 only having four episodes

'Wednesday' is ready to face a set of new challenges in her life at the Nevermore Academy. The trailer of Wednesday Season 2 has already left fans intrigued, but users are not happy with the show just having four episodes. One user on X commented, "So we waited this long for only 4 episodes?" Another user commented, "Well, part 1 was leaps ahead of all of season 1. The Addams are front and centre, and no plot line seems superfluous. There’s only one thing I’m kinda iffy about, but I’ll hold off judgment until the end." 

A user even commented, "People annoying on tiktok what u mean u can't wait a month or few weeks for 4 more episode of a show....before we had to wait a week each episode..and middle season finale had to wait 2-3 months ish." A sad user also shared how the show did not have all complete episodes and revealed, "Wednesday Season (2) has a total of 8 episodes....It's not complete yet." Only 4 episodes have been released today, and the remaining 4 will be released on September 3rd... see you guys." However, users were also disappointed that four episodes of Wednesday were not enough.

According to Twitterati's Wednesday in season 2 of the show is facing new challenges in her life. Fans of the show can surely expect a set of new adventures in the show. Users have already tweeted on how they cannot wait for season 3 of the show to air, which will take place in the month of September. Ever since the show was released, users cannot stop talking about the same. They hated to admit that the wait for Wednesday Season 2 was a long one. They even hated that Netflix was doing the two-part thing.
