In an interview with News 18 Showsha, Ananya talked about the rumors and said that she is done trying to remain private. She said she had reached a breaking point, understanding that the more she attempted to be subtle or hide things, the more frequently she was discovered. She said she didn't care anymore and wasn't attempting to hide anything, so she made the decision to let go. In her words:
