Vishal Pandey has been through a lot in the reality show, Bigg Boss OTT 3. It all started after a rough Weekend Ka Vaar, where he was grilled by the host, Anil Kapoor, and co-contestant, Armaan Malik's first wife, Payal Malik, who claimed that Vishal had ill intentions towards Kritika Malik. This left Armaan extremely angered and he slapped Vishal straight away. Now, Vishal revealed how Payal called him at his home to apologise.
Recently, in an interview with the Mid-Day, Vishal Pandey revealed that Payal Malik's phone called him at his home and she was even ready to write an apology letter. Vishal added that after coming out of the reality show he found out about the Malik family being trolled brutally by the audience, and this is the reason they are apologising to him. He said:

"Abi barabar maafi mangi, mere ghar par phone aaya ki mai apology letter likhne ke liye ready hoon. Yeh sab toh mujhe bahar aa kar pata chala ki unki itni trolling hui hai. Ki vo apology maangne ke liye ready hogaye. Yeh sab kyo kar rahe hai kyunki unko trolling se bachna hai."

Vishal Pandey further added that Payal is also putting his video on Armaan's page as they want to stop trolling herself. He stated that it is all karma and nothing else.
In an interview with The Indian Express, Vishal Pandey talked about his 'bhaiya bhagyashali' comment. He stated that you can call anyone bhagyashali as it is a compliment as he has two loving wives, who take care of him from morning to night. He further stated that he never checked out Kritika. Vishal was quoted as saying:
"You can call Bhagyashali Bhaiyya to anyone. I had clarified this to Sana Makbul too. I looked at Kritika to check if she was gone. I never checked her out. I do feel Armaan is very lucky to have not one but two such caring wives. People were not understanding that they were character assassinating me. It has damaged my image a lot. I still don’t get why Armaan was not pulled up for this. Even Chandrika’s involvement in that matter was unnecessary."

Earlier, Anil Kapoor invited Vishal's parents on the stage. When Vishal saw them on stage, he started crying, and his parents were also seen getting emotional. However, it was his father, who clarified and revealed that Vishal had not done anything wrong. He added that they have never touched their son or slapped him. He said:
"Vishal, you have not done anything wrong. We have never touched our son, and we have not given anyone the right to come and slap our son."
