However, new reports from sources claim that the couple who tied the knot in 2004 have been living separately for over a year, which has left fans shocked and curious about it.

Sehwag, who comes from a big family, met Aarti in the 1980s when his cousin got married to her aunt. However, during that time, he was seven while she was five.

They gradually became good friends, and soon, Virender Sehwag developed feelings for Aarti. When he turned 21, the celebrated cricketer proposed to her, and she said yes, much to his delight. Consequently, the couple tied the knot three years later in a highly publicised wedding on April 22, 2004. The ceremony was held at the residence of Arun Jaitely, who was then former Union Law Minister and later became India's finance minister.

Virendra Sehwag is also known as 'Viru' among his fans and is one of the most iconic cricketers on the Indian team. He debuted in International cricket in 1999 and has set various new records in his career, including being the first Indian cricketer to make a triple century in test cricket. He played crucial roles in India's 2007 T20 and 2011 World Cup victories. The cricketer stepped back from International cricket in 2015 and continues to be a part of IPL's broadcasting team.
