The icing on the cake was that Sachin himself was seated in the audience when Virat achieved the milestone. The display-less fitness brand is the WHOOP, which is loved by athletes like LeBron James, Michael Phelps, Rory Mcllroy and Tiger Woods. It is developed by US-based wearable technology. However, the bands is famous for it simple look and effectiveness. It is like a personal coach as it tracks the wearer's fitness and recovery without without screens or traditional smartwatch features.
WHOOP is founded by Will Ahmed in 2015, and it was in 2021 when the company launched the 4.0 version of the band. They recently launched Whoop Coach, which claims that the health and fitness data tracked by Whoop is 99 per cent accurate. Beat that! It is reported that the brand tracks the stress score and recovery of the athlete. Not only this, it even tells the wearer about the kind of improvement their body needs. It also has a sleep coach feature, which tells about the amount of sleep required for the body to perform at its best capacity.
Whoop is a subscription-based fitness tracker band, the WHOOP 4.0 enables tracking of heart rate, variability, temperature, respiration rate, blood oxygen level, calorie expenditure, and more. According to the company, the band gathers such data 100 times per second. It is priced at USD 239 with a 12-month subscription. However, it is unavailable in India. The monthly subscription fee is USD 30 and includes access to the WHOOP app on desktop, IOS and Android.
