The Pahalgam attack has left the entire nation heartbroken with its brutality. For the unversed, a group of terrorists attacked tourists of the Baisaran Valley on April 22, 2025, and 26 innocent Indian men lost their lives. Among others, it was the demise of Navy officer, Vinay Narwal that left the entire nation devastated. He was 26 years old and got married to Himanshi only 7 days ago. The couple was on their honeymoon when Vinay was attacked. Well, now Elvish Yadav revealed that he's related to Vinay Narwal's wife, Himanshi.

The heartbreaking clip of Himanshi breaking down in tears during her husband, Vinay Narwal's last rites, has kept the entire nation in utter pain. Amid this, Elvish Yadav shared a video and revealed being related to Himanshi. He said that at first, when he saw the video of Himanshi, describing what happened to her husband, he only heard it and couldn't get the idea of already knowing her. Elvish revealed that when he re-watched the video again, it struck him that he already knew Himanshi from his college days. Elvish shared that Himanshi and he used to study in college, and they had a whole lot of fun together, as they would go to college via metro together.

Elvish already had Himanshi's phone number but he couldn't call her, thinking what would be her mental state. Elvish called another mutual friend of theirs and revealed that Himanshi picked up the call on the 31st attempt and shared that everything she shared or being written was actually true and that Vinay was shot dead after the terrorists confirmed his religion to be Hindu.

One can easily understand the pain that Vinay Narwal's family has been going through. For the unversed, on the day that Vinay was killed, his mom, being unaware of the state, was distributing sweets from her son's wedding that took place only a week ago. As per The Print, Vinay Narwal's family reacted to the online attention that they are getting in this tough time.

His sister shared that while everything being on the internet feels like a little breach of privacy, it also widens support and the scope for justice. Vinay's father was also questioned about this. To this, he shared that he had been having blackouts, and he's not in the state to check what's going on on the internet.

Vinay's father further mentioned that while social media has its own usage, one shouldn't morph images or videos. For the unversed, a viral video claimed to be of Vinay and Himanshi made rounds on social media, but later, it was revealed that the clip was of some other couple's. Such a mishap during this tough time surely became disturbing, and again raised questions about the usage of social media.
