Vikrant Massey Opens Up About Son's Birth, Says Wife Went Through 30 Hours Of Labour, '9 Months..'

Vikrant Massey was a familiar face often seen on the small screen. However, through his exceptional acting skills, Vikrant has proved his mettle in Bollywood and established himself as a popular film star. He has been achieving one feat after another in his professional life. Vikrant Massey's personal life has also been filled with joy since he and his wife, Sheetal Thakur, welcomed a baby boy in 2025. The actor recently spoke at length about his wife's pregnancy journey. 

Vikrant Massey talks about his wife, Sheetal's 30-hour labour while giving birth to son, Vardaan

Vikrant Massey and his wife, Sheetal Thakur, welcomed their baby boy, Vardaan, in February 2025. Recently, in a podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia, the actor discussed personal topics, including marriage and fatherhood. Touching upon the latter subject, Vikrant recalled that Sheetal had gone through 30 hours of labour. After witnessing his wife's pregnancy journey, the actor's respect for women has increased. He even stated in the podcast that 'endure a lot'. When the host asked him if there was any male equivalent to the difficulty of labour, Vikrant said that nothing a man can do will ever come close to giving birth. The actor was quoted as saying:

“During the nine months of pregnancy, to see Sheetal… and I have known Sheetal for more than 10 years. To see that little girl, to see her belly grow day by day. She went through 30 hours of labour I think. I mean women endure a lot."

Vikrant Masset opens up about his and Sheetal's marriage 

Vikrant shared his views on marriage in the podcast. In his opinion, marriage is 'a constant work in progress'. Talking about his wedding to Sheetal, the actor said he was apprehensive about long-term relationships in his younger days. However, since he always wanted to have a family of his own, Vikrant wasn't commitment-phobic anymore when he met the right person, his wife, Sheetal. 

Vikrant also shared a funny incident involving him and his wife. The actor said that Sheetal recently had a dream in which she saw her husband hiking with another woman. Vikrant said that she tried to call him out in the dream, but he did not listen to her. The next day, Sheetal fought with him over this dream. Vikrant said:

“The other day, she actually had a dream that I was on a hike with some pretty girl, and she was calling out my name, and I am not responding in her dream and I’m just walking further and further away. She woke up and she fought with me over a dream."
