Vijay Thalpathy And Trisha Krishnan Slammed By Advocate Amid Sangeetha's Divorce, 'Twinning Like..'

Vijay Thalapathy has been grabbing a lot of headlines due to his personal life. It all started after his wife, Sangeetha Sornalingam, filed for separation after 27 years of marriage. However, it was the reason that was more shocking as she, in her petition, claimed that the situation had arisen after finding out about her husband's extramarital affair with an actress. 

An advocate slammed Vijay Thalapathy and Trisha Krishnan for making an appearance at a wedding amid the former's divorce 

Amid Sangeetha's divorce petition accusing Vijay of an extramarital affair, making rounds, social media is speculating if it is Trisha Krishnan. However, Vijay and Trisha's appearance together for a wedding added more fuel to the heated controversy. Now, Madras High Court advocate, Saranya Natarajan, slammed Vijay Thalapathy and Trisha Krishnan's public outing. 

Taking to her Instagram account, she shared an official press statement and requested public discussions around Vijay and his wife, Sangeetha's divorce. She even slammed TVK's International Women's Day celebrations at Mamallapuram, wherein Vijay announced key schemes for women in the upcoming Assembly election. She requested empathy for the woman who might be the victim in the case. She said:

"It is even more disturbing to see her targeted by sections of followers on social media, while strangers and members of the public show empathy and show for her. When outsiders demonstrate more humanity than supposed supporters, it says everything about loyalty and conscience. As an advocate, I believe empathy, dignity, and justice must always remain above influence, image and blind following. This is not about politics, this is about humanity."

Along with this, Saranya also clarified in the caption that she is not representing Sangeetha as her advocate. She further took a jibe at Vijay Thalapathy, making extramarital affairs look normal by displaying them as a proud moment. She referred to Jayam Ravi and then Vijay and Trisha twinning, as if it is a trend. She wrote:

"Important clarification: I am not representing Sangeeta as her advocate. Request everyone not to tag or refer to me as her counsel. Let’s avoid misinformation. {Extra marital affairs may not be penalised now… but displaying them like a proud moment and normalising it still doesn’t make it normal. First Jayam Ravi… now Vijay and Trisha Krishnan twinning like it’s some trend} This whole issue started only after I posted that. And then suddenly the abuse started from certain fans."

Vijay Thalapathy attended a wedding reception alongside Trisha Krishnan

A video from the wedding reception of Kalpathy Suresh and Meenakshi Suresh's son has been going viral. In the clip, Vijay was seen at the venue, and to everyone's surprise, Trisha Krishnan was walking just behind him. She looked gorgeous in a classy saree, and her presence added stars to the celebration. On the other hand, Vijay was dressed in a traditional cream-and-gold-hued ensemble.

The two actors' appearance together right after the divorce grabbed immediate attention from viewers and attendees. The two looked relaxed in their body posture and unhinged about the controversies and allegations involving their names. They even left the venue together. However, their presence definitely left many in shock. 

Amid the divorce buzz, a report by Tamil Filmibeat revealed that Vijay Thalapathy wants to settle the matter out of court. The actor-turned-politician doesn't want to drag it due to his public image. He has initiated multiple talks over the same with his wife, Sangeetha, and if reports are to be believed, he has proposed an alimony of Rs. 250 crore to his wife to settle the case.
