Recently, the official handle of Peacock dropped two jaw-dropping photos of Vidya Balan, and netizens are not able to stop gushing over the actress, courtesy of her jaw-dropping transformation. In one of the photos, Vidya looked simply gorgeous as she slipped into a pink-toned strappy dress with a plunging neckline and sequins all over. The dress featured feather fringe detailing in the hem. With a classy bangle and multi-stoned necklace, Vidya finalised her look. Soft makeup, including rosy and sparkly eyeshadow, brown-toned lipstick, and an ample amount of highlighter, was enough to enhance her gorgeousness, and oh boy, she looked nothing less than an angel.

In another photo, Vidya looked breathtakingly gorgeous as she slipped into a silver-toned strappy gown with sequins all over. Her dress was highlighted with a green embroidered work near the bust area. Vidya's look was highlighted with a white-toned cape. The added classy strokes of eyeliner were enough to turn the fashion game for the actress. Moreover, as soon as the photos went viral, netizens showered the actress with love and praise. While her short hair gave people a deja vu of her look from the 2008 movie, Kismat Konnection, others started taking notes and suggested other actresses to do so. In a world where people are obsessed with size zero, Vidya successfully broke the stereotypes by proving that gorgeousness can't be proven through one's size.

Vidya Balan revealed how she lost so much weight after a prolonged struggle to manage the same

Time and again, Vidya Balan had talked about her prolonged battle with weight loss. However, it was last year when the actress left everyone stunned with her massive weight loss. Later, in an interview with Gallata, Vidya shared that the reason she could lose weight was not due to gym or working out, but by controlling her diet. She revealed that after a long period of time, she got to know that the reason for her weight was not fat but inflammation, and by maintaining her diet, she was able to lose weight.

In an interview with The Indian Express, Vidya had earlier stated that she was told countless times by the directors and producers that she must lose weight to bag an offer. The actress questioned this expectation and added how she suffered for a long time with her health, and shedding extra kilos had become next to impossible by then, and thus, when a part was written with her in mind, the expectation that she should be thin shouldn't be there.
