Vicky Kaushal's House-Help Lovingly Wards Off The Actor's 'Nazar' After Massive Success Of 'Chhaava'

Vicky Kaushal is a phenomenal actor, and he has proved this with his unbroken streak of phenomenal performances. The actor is well known for his versatility and has recently been basking on the success of his periodic drama, Chhaava. Now, Vicky has shared a video that has our hearts in awe.

Vicky Kaushal has the entire nation praising him for his phenomenal work in Chhaava alongside Akshaye Khanna and Rashmika Mandana. The film has been a hit at the box office and is getting a lot of love from the audience. The historical biopic drama was released in theatres across the globe on February 14, 2025, and has since crossed more than Rs. 200 crore in India. 

The star of the film, Vicky Kaushal, took to his official Instagram handle on February 21, 2025, and shared an adorable video of his 'nazar utraai' at home. For the unversed, nazar utrai is a traditional Indian ritual to ward off the evil eye. In the video, the actor was seen alongside his longtime house help, Asha Tai, who was seen doing the ritual. 

In the video, Vicky Kaushal can be seen wearing a black 'Represent Belstaff' hoodie with a pair of black lower and a matching cap. The actor politely stood with his head bowed as Asha Tai performed the ritual. The actor smiled and thanked her with folded hands after she was done. The actor posted the clip with the song, Jaane Tu from his film. He penned a heartfelt caption and shared how Asha Tai had seen him grow. After she had seen his film, she came to visit him and did the nazar utrai. Vicky called it her way of showing her love and captioned the post:

"Asha Tai has seen me grow… in height and in life, both. Yesterday, she saw #Chhaava and insisted…"ubhey raha, nazar utrayechi aahe tumchi"...This has always been her way of showing love and protecting me from the abundance of it. So happy to have her in my life!"

When Vicky Kaushal shared the video, netizens took to the comment section to share their views on the adorable video. A user wrote, "That's best blessings all the best." Another user penned, "'Raje' This is to acknowledge and appreciate your hard work." The comment sector was soon filled with red heart and nazar amulet emojis. Several commenters called the gesture adorable and precious. A user in a long text wrote:

About Chhaava

It has been a week since the film's release on February 14, 2025, and the makers of Chhaava announced that the film has entered the Rs. 300 crore club worldwide as of February 21, 2025. This marks the film as the first Hindi film of 2025 to do so. Vicky Kaushal is seen playing the role of Maratha ruler, 'Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj'. An adaptation of the Marathi novel, Chhava by Shivaji Sawant.
