In a recent interview, Sunny revealed his plans for the future, which will be executed after the arrival of the little one.

Sunny Kaushal reveals what kind of uncle he would be to Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s kid

In a recent interview with The Delhi Times, Vicky Kaushal’s brother, Sunny Kaushal, shared the excitement of the entire Kaushal family, who are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the baby. He mentioned that it was the first time the Kaushal household had experienced this kind of joy. The Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba star added that, at the moment, they are all eagerly anticipating the baby’s arrival and the day when they can welcome the little bundle of joy into their home. 

When asked about the kind of chachu he would be for 'VicKat's' baby, Sunny expressed that he would ensure he is a fun uncle. The Shiddat actor also shared about his wish to spoil the little one. He was quoted as saying: 

"I will make sure I’m a fun uncle. I want to spoil the child. That’s the kind of chachu I want to be."

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s pregnancy announcement

After a lot of speculation surrounding the pregnancy, it was on September 23, 2025, when Katrina Kaif finally confirmed the news. The Namastey London actress took to her Instagram handle and shared a collaborative post with her husband, Vicky Kaushal, announcing the good news. The pregnancy announcement was made by sharing an adorable picture of themselves holding a Polaroid photo, wherein the mom-to-be Katrina was proudly flaunting her full grown baby bump, while Vicky lovingly caressed her baby bump. They captioned the post as:

"On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude."

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal allegedly host an intimate baby shower

According to a report by Pinkvilla, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal allegedly hosted a private baby shower on October 6, 2025. The celebration was held a few weeks after the announcement of their pregnancy. It was an intimate event attended by only close friends and family. The event was reportedly filled with warmth and joy as the couple was all set to start a new chapter of their lives.

While the duo has not shared any official pictures or details of the baby shower event, Pinkvilla claimed that celebrity chef, Shilarna Vaze, was hired to prepare the food for the special occasion. She also dropped a subtle hint on her Instagram Stories by posting a picture that suggested she had attended a baby shower. Although she did not confirm it as Katrina’s baby shower event, Pinkvilla claimed that it might be a special event for 'VicKat'.
