Veer Pahariya Reveals He Took Advice From 'Nearly Family' Janhvi Kapoor, 'She's Very Talented As...'

Bollywood lovers are eagerly anticipating the movie lineup for 2025 as they are set to see many new faces make their acting debut. Among the many much-anticipated debuts is that of Veer Pahariya, who will be gracing the big screen for the first time alongside the iconic Akshay Kumar in the action thriller Sky Force. For the unversed, Veer hails from a political family, being the maternal grandson of former CM, Sushilkumar Shinde and the brother of Shikhar Pahariya, who is currently dating actress, Janhvi Kapoor. With Janvi being so close to his family as well as a senior in the industry, Veer reached out to her for tips. Recently, he opened up about the same.

Veer Pahariya graced the HT City office along with Akshay Kumar for HT City's Stars In the City on January 20, 2025. During the interaction, the actor, who is eagerly looking forward to his debut, was asked if he had ever reached out to Janvhi Kapoor for tips, given that she's 'nearly family' as well as his senior in the industry. 

For the unversed, the actress also has experience playing an Air Force officer in a biopic as she embodied the titular character in Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. Revealing that he had taken a lot of advice from her as she was 'pretty experienced,' Veer said:

"So I think she's very talented as an actress and she has played a real character in Gunjan Saxena. That was a biopic as well. So yeah, any of my friends are actors, I don't miss out the chance of asking them for any advice. And she's pretty experienced. So yeah, I did take a lot of advice."

Veer Pahariya's connections with Bollywood's Gen-Z crowd aren't limited to Janhvi Kapoor. The actor also dated Saif Ali Khan's daughter and fellow actress, Sara Ali Khan, in 2016. Although the pair eventually split ways, they remain close friends to this day. Not only that, Sara will also be playing Veer's on-screen wife in Sky Force. Their chemistry in the film's recently released songs, Rang and Kya Meri Yaad Aati Hai, already have fans swooning and eagerly anticipating seeing them on the big screen.

In a candid chat with Bollywood Bubble, Veer opened up about his experience working with Sara in Sky Force. The interviewer pointed out that Sara had embodied a character completely opposite to her humorous and bubbly personality, asking Veer about what she was like on set. The actor responded:

"No, she's a very, very hard-working actress, and she has given her life to this role. Usse apne aap ko really prove karna hai as a performer. Aur unhone bahut mehnat se kaam kari hai, bahut shiddat se kaam kari hai. Aur unhone mujhe bohot sikhaya hai because unhe itne saalon ka experience hai industry. Toh mein sach mein bahut fortunate hu ki mujhe aisi co-star mili apni first film mein."

Sara is known for her honest answers. Hence, the actress didn't shy away when she was asked about her once dating spree with Veer. In an interview with Jitesh Pillai on Famously Filmfare, Sara finally admitted to dating the political big shot. She stated that Veer was the only one she had dated. Apart from him, she had had no other boyfriends in her life.
